    Omri Casspi asks for trade

Omri Casspi has shown significant flashes of promise in his young career, but he has become an afterthought for the struggling Cavaliers since missing five games in December.

Ive always like his size and game. He'd be a good wing player here I think, but dont know his value. also dont know if we would be willing to give up pieces for a player at our strongest position.
If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

He's absolutely terrible. I've been watching him on the Cavs, and the guy is awful. He's good for posting in the corner and jacking up threes...think Murph without stealing all those rebounds.

He stinky. What sort of leverage does he think he has? Who's gonna want him? He can't even outplay Luke friggin' Walton for a spot in the Cavs' embarrassing rotation.

He was decent with Sacramento, but has been garbage for a while.

Was he decent in Sacramento by just shooting corner three's, or was his game more diverse? Perhaps he only looks good in certain systems? I doubt our system would be one of them, though. Was he good out in SAC before or after Adelman got fired?

He was more aggressive and drove to the basket mush more in SAC. Maybe he is just unhappy with his role or whatever in CLE. He has a good offensive game, but not much mid range. I dont know much about his D.

I remember watching Casspi early in his career in Sac. Seemed like a steal, and a potential star. I don't know what's happened to him since, but I still think there's potential.

Edit: I remember thinking Sacto had the best draft with T. Evens and Casspi, and with Blake being injured.

                Yeah, he shot 45%, 37% from deep, 10ppg, 4rpg, 1 turnover

It's gotten ugly as his minutes went down (from 25/game). 40% shooting, 34% from deep, 6ppg.

Not to mention he doesn't pass the eye test, looks lost at times.

I cant imagine him being a worse addition than Pendy, or McGuire

I'm Israeli and I don't want him with the Pacers. I don't rate him highly at all.
And I also disagree he has potential, I think he's pretty much the finished product already.
Casspi's simply not talented enough IMO.

Nonono we really don't want him. I currently live in Ohio and I have to watch Cavaliers basketball - he is not somebody you want on your team.
Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

I'll take him and a filler for green. Just cause Casspi is only one year deal

Is he asking for a trade from the Cavaliers or from Sprite's Team Sudden?

I'm guessing that he's back in the Euro League by this summer
