if this guy was the one PG the pacers need, he would be the starting PG not trapped on the bench. DC > DJ

pacers don't need to shuffle PG's with other decent but not great PG's. if they get a new guy, he needs to be a clear upgrade over the present guy. not a clear downgrade like this.

And calling him a clear downgrade is downright incorrect.

Team Chemistry is off the charts right now... So I'm not interested in moving any key pieces right now unless there is a clear upgrade. Lateral moves should be completely off the table.

DC for Augustin is probably a lateral move, possibly a downgrade. I think he's a starter in this league though, which means he's going to be too expensive to bring in as a backup.

In other words, pass.

I would absorb Corey Maggete's salary just to take on DJ. A backup point guard that could start for a lot of teams. Why not? Next year he is expiring...

I don't think he's better than Collison, he'd help in that he'd push Price out of the rotation permanently and let Hill slide over to his more natural position of the 2...but I'm not sure I'd give up a first round pick as I'm not sure he's the difference between winning a playoff series and not, and that's what it comes down to.

I'd be a Bobcats fan (they seem like they are tough to watch..but can't be worse than an O'brien led team, right?), but I'd still be a Pacers fan. I love Frank and a lot of the guys on team.
