Once again... Is it Time To Bring Back the FloJos ?

I know its been long discussed, I also remember reading a "bring back the FloJos" thread not so long ago here in the forum (by the way with some cool new versions.)

There was even a facebook campaign !

My question is ... Can the (us) the fans do something about it ?? With all the hype and new buzz surrounding our young and exciting team ... I think is about time to make another push to bring our glory days FloJos back!

I think there is a whole process for a team instituting a throwback or alternate uniform but putting that aside...I think it would be appropriate if we win a playoff series.

Simple is almost always better when it comes to jerseys imo with a few exceptions. Those FloJos are an exception! I also wouldn't mind the '67-71 jerseys the Pacers store is selling.

I don't really understand the love for these jerseys. I loved the great teams that wore them and wouldn't mind some aspects of them being included in a new design, but not exact replicas. Love some of the new design ideas I've seen in a few threads.

A lot of it is just because of the great memories associated with those jerseys, but I think it's also because they are so unique. Are there any other jerseys throughout the NBA that compare to them?

I was told that due to the lockout-shortened schedule and the influx of roster changes there will be no throwbacks this year, but a strong possibility for them next year.

I was told that due to the lockout-shortened schedule and the influx of roster changes there will be no throwbacks this year, but a strong possibility for them next year.

There had been a whole set of ABA throwbacks for various clubs scheduled...the Pacers were to wear 1973-1974 Blue road unis. The Heat were to wear Floridians jerseys, the Timberwolves Minnesota Muskies, Bobcats Carolina Cougars, etc.
