Jerry Sloan took over the Jazz when he was 46, had his first job when he was 37 though.
Pop was 47.
Mike Brown's a young coach too IMO.
I'm just sayin' I have zero interest in hiring someone over the age of 50. JOB was 55 when we brought him in.Leave a comment:

The Pacers are the Jamaican bobsled team and the Celtics are the Swiss.Leave a comment:

I will take your word for it. He hasn't been young since I have been watching basketball(Jordan). I just want to point out that the majority of championship coaches this decade have been older. Nothing against younger coaches but the older ones deserve some respect..Leave a comment:

I just picture in my mind us trailing after the Celtics picking up their leftovers. Probably just me. If we keep winning though, I won't complainLeave a comment:

I couldn't care less about any connections. I like that we are modeling ourselves after a winning team and a winning franchise. I don't really get why that bothers people, but to each his own.Leave a comment:

I love what Frank is doing.
But am I the only one that gets a little sick with all of these Boston connections the Pacers seem to make?? Makes you feel a little bit dirty if you ask me.Leave a comment:

Boston's offense.
I love Boston's offense.
I love the motivation tactics too.
I'm still waiting to see on how he does with adjustments..but really, I think Vogel has "it" as a coach.
I'm almost as excited to watch him grow as a coach for the rest of the season, as I am to watch the players grow.Leave a comment:

Re: Mike Wells:Simple is better for hot Pacers
How can we possibly be "spacing the court"? We no longer employ a "stretch 4" and we don't use the 3 as our primary scoring threat for the purposes of creating space. How in the world can we possibly be "spacing the court"?
Blasphemy I tell you...blasphemy.
