The Bear should have given the guy is hat back instead of waving it around on the court like a jackass.
Also, I'm not surprised that the Jazz would do something to insult visiting fans, especially someone as harmless as a Cavs fan in a Jamison jersey. They have the most vile and classless fans in the entire NBA.

THIS. Mascots should leave visiting team fans alone, they hear it enough from the home team fans. Your only asking for something like this to happen when you have a mascot go up and wave a sign behind them getting the fans to start booing him.Comment

I thought that was an entertaining bit. Don't understand the classless comments. They were entertaining their fans. Don't know when Sports became such a classy venture. I miss the common fun of it.Protect the Promise!!!!Comment

Never thought of that. Probably why the security guy high fives the mascot afterwords. My question though is what are the Jazz doing with a Antawn Jamison Cavs jersey?Comment

The Hawks used to do the same thing, set up a shill wearing the opposing team's gear and pick on him.
Always thought it was pretty low, myself.BillS

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...Comment

Even if it was a set-up then it's still a very stupid thing to do. What if somebody is knocked over during the scuffle? Also, who is the damn mascot there for anyways? They are there to entertain kids in the crowd generally, and if those kids see their favorite mascot stealing a guy's hat and beating his *** mid-court then what are they going to be thinking?Comment

Re: Not only are the Cavs getting beat up so are their fans
You know I know this was supposed to be funny and for comedy but to be honest with you I think it was in very poor taste for the Jazz to do this.
Not that I want to bring any political nature into this but with the current climate and all of the talk about words and reactions to words due to recent events I am very suprised that a professional team would authorize a physical act of violence.
This actually is a direct violation of the code of conduct for fans that the NBA issues before every game. If the staff is not held to the same standard how can you really expect anyone to take that seriously.
Sorry, I'll get off of my high horse now.Comment

Jeeze you people need to lighten up. It was clearly set up. Look at his sign, it say JAZZ SUCK and CAVS RULE. It's definitely set up and it was absolutely hilarious.
