It’s a curse, every single Pacer star becomes too cool to care about winning. And we have a coach that thinks HE is the star. Rick sabotages players, especially star players which is why he’s nowhere near Doncic. Anyway the question regarding Haliburton is what will he do? Vic had his R. Kelly thing going writing creepy, hyper-sexual songs. Podcast P has his Podcast with his two weirdo co- hosts. I just don’t know what Haliburton will do yet but if goes full MAGA I’m gonna have to stop being a Pacer fan.

final thought on myles, if he had not become the fan zone guy who buys people tickets his second year or whatever it was, he would have been traded long ago

the pelicans played well, and their outside shots are falling.

but I thought the pacers put themselves in good position. Around 6 mins left, pacers down 1 but got a rebound, ran a fast break and math scored. But The ref called the 5th foul on siakam.

I thought siakam ran into that position first, and the contact is very minimal. Then TJ got a tech for complaining, and pacers lost any momentum. And it went downhill from there..

Haliburton looks broken. Devoid of energy, sapped of his creativity, reduced to predictable volley of 30 foot 3 point attempts.

Myles with his second game this year with as many turnovers as boards. Unfathomable. IJax was building a case to become the starter too and now that has seemingly gone out the window.

Mathurin and Shep both look terrific. But going to be hard to do anything with the franchise player looking like an average starter.

Hali plays so stupid and unaggressive now. He is routinely found in open spots to shoot the three, and instead drives in on two defenders to either pass it or use a tear drop that inevitably misses. He has no killer instinct at all right now. He needs to be shooting 20 times a game not, 7-9 times. I'm hopeful it's just early season struggles, but right now he's horrific.
                  Dear P_George,
You have received an infraction at Pacers Digest.

That Hawkins blow by against Haliburton in the final minutes made me cringe. Right now he is a liability on both ends of the floor.

                        mediocre Pacers checklist
Haliburton gets cooked by a no-name guard - check
Turner has the same number of rebounds and turnovers - check

I just want a man in the paint, we get out rebounded pretty every game. It’s been so long since we have had a good rebounded I really can’t even think of the last one

Wonder if Jahlil Okafor will get a chance now that our big situation is so thin.
Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

Turner killed any and all momentum at the start of the 3rd, where his minutes in the 1st half were painful that was the kill time, JAX in and we back in it, Turner returned and that's all she wrote.

Seems Mathurin is the best player on this team, and he played some good defense as well.

                              who would've thought

BTW, the Pels announcers expressed relief when TJ was replaced by Hali in the final minutes. They felt like they had a much better chance with Hali in.
