    2007 Cavs:

Did you forget that they got swept?

    Kawhi:

He beat the Warriors in the finals in 2019. Durant got injured but LeBron also beat the Warriors without Durant.

He is also 1-1 vs. LeBron in the finals.

I'm not sure how can you say LeBron is the best you ever seen when he still has 2 less rings vs. Jordan, and has had more shots at it.

You can bring up 2007 but he easily had the best team during his 4 years in Miami and came up short twice
Kyrie didn’t play on the 2018 Cavs. His best players that year were Kevin Love and Jordan Clarkson. Kawhi beat Steph and Dray with a bunch of players who weren’t in the league the next season. I’ll say LeBron is there with Jordan because all of the evidence from the last 20 years. Sure he has less rings but LeBron beat arguably the best team ever, by putting up 41, 41, and a 29 point triple double

You're right. I got it mixed up with 2016.

I know we're talking about what ifs here but Jordan's 6-0 record in the finals to me says there's no reason he couldn't do the same.

The warriors that year were almost the best team ever...if they would've won the championship. But that title still belongs to the the Bulls when they went 72-10

72-10 Bulls would lose in 4 or 5 to 2017 Warriors

I brought up those Bulls because you said LeBron beat arguably the best team of all time. Credit to him for coming back 3-1 but I don't think there's an argument. The Warriors ultimately fell short.

Also, do you think Pippen is a better player than Wade or Anthony Davis? I don't for the record.

In fairness though, he’s probably assuming Zaza Pachulia slides under Jordan when they’re down by +20 in Game 1.

The KD warriors were down 3-2 to the rockets and Chris Paul missed game 6 and 7. Imo they would have lost to Houston without the CP injury. They kd warriors were not an unstoppable juggernaut they got down 3-2 to Harden and CP.

He’s not a better player than Wade. Davis is debatable

And Harden was a legendary offensive machine with one of the best point guards of all-time next to him. People eventually are going to look back on Harden and have to realize he had a stretch that is at least top 5 or so all-time in offensive production.

That Warriors team mayyyyy struggle against a Shaq and Kobe, but they're handling the Bulls imo. KD with Steph/Klay is a cheat code. Two of them were very good defenders, plus they had Draymond who's one of
the most switchable bigs and better playmakers for a big ever. I hate that Warriors team more than any other team of all-time, but they were ludicrously OP. It doesn't take anything away from MJ's greatness either. It's an awful awful matchup and an abundantly clear loss in the math department.

with MJ better than Steph, Pippen better than Klay, and Rodman having Draymond for breakfast I can only give it to the Bulls

Durant, Stpeh, Klay, and Draymond is a better 4 man combo than anything the Bulls have. Steph, KD, and Dray is a better 3 man than MJ, Pip, and Rodman. Sure MJ is the best player in the series but the gap between him, Steph and KD is smaller than Steph or KD vs Pip

It makes Jordan's case over LeBron even stronger IMO. Again, LeBron had his chances (in his prime) to match Jordan and has more years played.

I also think when people talk about Jordans' 6 rings, 3-peating twice gets overlooked

It'd depend on the rules, if 90s rules, goes to the Bulls. If today's rules, goes to the warriors.

Style was tougher back then, but today's style is faster.

                                I have to disagree.

Jordan vs Steph - no explanation needed
Pippen vs KD - If you've read some of my past comments, I'm not big on Pippen, at all. I don't think he deserved to be one of the top 50 players...but I do feel his defense is stubborn enough that KD wouldn't score as much as some may think
Rodman vs Dray - Dray beats Rodman in all around skill, but Rodman smokes Dray in athleticism, and he'll reverse those mental head games that Dray tries.
