Bold take. Prime LeBron is probably the best player ever. He’s done things I don’t think anyone else can do. I’m not even a LeBron fan

So apparently according to Windhorst, Tyrese had a minor leg injury during the games that he had an MRI done on.

I for one am perfectly fine with him having mostly riding the bench all Olympics. Maybe it's just lingering PTSD from August 2014......

This Olympics in general was thoroughly entertaining across the board .

LeBron is a much more trustworthy playmaker. He literally does everything better except for shooting the ball and off-ball movement. Defense, rebounding, and playmaking all very easily go to LeBron. Scoring probably goes to LeBron too, even though he's always been a more pass first player.

You're underrating Curry's playmaking. Same can be said for Curry, even though he is a scorer, his passing is just as good as anybody's.

Scoring? Curry has proven he can score whenever he wants despite his size. Lebron has had superteams after superteams and some how still has the same amount of rings as Curry.

I would also take Jokic and a prime Kawhi over Lebron too. I just trust these players a lot more in closing situations.

What qualifies as a superteam? Curry, Klay and Draymond will all be HOF. So will Durant. And they all played together in their prime.

Jokic played arguably the weakest finals team in the last 20 years. Jokic is good but Jokic isn’t taking the 2018 Cavs or 2007 Cavs to the finals. Same for Kawhi

What are you basing this on? I don't know where Kyrie was ranked in 2018, but I'm guessing a top 10 player, top 15 at worst? Pair Jokic with another top 10 player right now and I think they would dominate.

                      2007 Cavs:

Did you forget that they got swept?

                      Kawhi:

He beat the Warriors in the finals in 2019. Durant got injured but LeBron also beat the Warriors without Durant.

He is also 1-1 vs. LeBron in the finals.

I'm not sure how can you say LeBron is the best you ever seen when he still has 2 less rings vs. Jordan, and has had more shots at it.

You can bring up 2007 but he easily had the best team during his 4 years in Miami and came up short twice

                        A big 3 basically.

                        Wade, Bosh, Lebron in Miami

Irving, Lebron, Love in Cleveland (In hindsight Love did not show up in the big games, but when the trade went down there was hype around them)

When Durant went to GS, that's just a next level superteam.

I never said anything about Curry's playmaking, but it's not as good as LeBron's imo. I don't think LeBron is the best passer in the league or anything, but he is above Curry in terms of over all team creation imo. Curry has typically only really had that role in years his team hasn't been very good, or just before the realization that Draymond would better serve the role as lead playmaker. Both guys (Bron and Steph) turn the ball over too much though.

Also, I didn't mention championships, I mentioned scoring. They're both plenty great at it, but LeBron can get his buckets in just about any situation possible because he's been so dominant in the mid/close range since his Miami days. Obviously Curry is one of the most creative finishers of all-time too, but he can't get to the rim as reliably as LeBron, and the outside shot is a little more inconsistent than rim attacks, naturally. Perhaps that's not a fair criteria for scoring though.

About the 2007 Cavs, do you not think it's impressive that a 22 year old got them to the Finals at all? They were swept by the best team of an era.

He did have a horrible horrible series in Miami against Dallas, that's true too.

"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

I personally wouldn't consider that to be so minor, since it'd be the third time he'd have a problem with the same thing. Windy went on to say it wasn't bad enough to shut him down or anything, but that it was something that popped up. But something for an MRI to see... Idk I can't really imagine what it'd be other than the stupid hamstring. I'm not going to jump to conclusions, as tempting as it is to yell out from the rooftops he should've been sitting until April.
