Should've just called a timeout on the inbounds. It was going to be a bang bang catch with Siakam and the defender.

(And he's also not been a good free throw shooter).

That was the momentum lift we needed and they blew it. Literally blew it.

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Rick made a series of late gaffes, unfortunately, that didn't help matters:

1 - Didn't make them swear on the Holy Bible that they would call a timeout, if they didn't like their inbound opportunity at the end.

2 - Didn't want to foul and brought TJ in (instead of Shep???) when they needed a stop before that tying three.

3 - Didn't have a better action drawn up (like a pick and roll/pop with Myles or Siakim?) in the final seconds of regulation.

4 - Went really small with TJ when Nesmith fouled out in overtime. Celtics abused our lack of size the rest of the way.

Ultimately, it's the players that blew it but coaching HAS to be an advantage for us, if we have any shot in this series.

Tyrese had ten assists and one turnover and played a perfect game before those two. Why does this stuff always happen to us

Unfortunate ending but a great game by the Pacers and I feel like we can hang with these guys.

Nembhard makes all these huge shots down the stretch then suddenly forgets how to make an inbounds pass at the most important part of the night

This feels exactly like after game 1 of 2013 ECF where LeBron laid it in at the buzzer

                        Yes, it was somehow both.

Bud you not only are a half full kind of guy but maybe full throttle. Not sure how you do it after a gut wrench like that but it is admirable.

I'd rather take my chances with Brown hitting that three than extend the game.

Nemhard lost this game. That was a Bill Buckner or Chris Webber level choke. We had a timeout too. You just can't do that.

Considering what we did on a one day turnaround against a team with a week's rest that was supposed to just brush us off like an annoying fly, I'm not counting us out. But dayum.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...
