Kind of saw that happening. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
    Go Pacers!

Bally is what the Fox RSNs turned into when Disney had to sell them.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

Hopefully this forces the Pacers and the NBA to rebid out the broadcast rights. Bally is a ing disgrace.

The NBA should try to follow the NFL example and have most games on free tv.

I just wish the Pacers could be under a different RSN. For example, Bulls are NBC Sports Chicago, Wizards are NBC Sports Washington. Celtics are NBC Sports Boston. Sixers are NBC Sports Philadelphia. The presentation on the NBC RSN's is so much better than Bally. There needs to be an NBC Sports Indiana/Indianapolis for the Pacers.

Until you HAVE to have Comcast to get it, which was (and might still be) a thing in Philly.....

There are no free channels that aren't already packed with network programming that would be available in anything approaching a wide enough area. That era is long gone.

Not necessarily; I believe that channel 23 is almost entirely re-runs these days. I just don't know how large the viewing area would be, but I've found it's carried apparently at least as far west as Crawsfordville via Metronet (although I do believe that an outdoor antenna would likely be required that far out for OTA reception). The team would probably have to find a station in Terre Haute and Bloomington as well, and it would probably be road game coverage only, but I don't think the idea would entirely be impossible.

Now the cost for 23 to get local broadcasting rights....... that actually might be out of their reach.

What don’t you like about it particularly? Just curious. I had some issues with the DVR portion and stupid issues with overtime games early on but they seem to have worked that out. Aside from the repetitive commercials, I like it.

I'm crying a river of tears.

8,000,000,000$ in debt? I wonder how much the mafia bosses at the top have of that stashed away in offshore bank accounts. Sure glad I didn't buy into it.

Nope..... I live here in the Maryland, and NBC Sports Washington is on Youtube TV.
