FiveThirtyEight Analysis of Buddy Hield (& Justin Holiday) Post Trade

For total stats nerds, the website FiveThirtyEight did a statistical breakdown of how Buddy Hield's offensive game has changed since being traded the the Pacers (and additionally how Justin Holiday's game has changed since being traded to the Kings)

TL;DR - Hield became less of a one dimensional player offensively while Holiday became more of one.

I've said this before: There's no way we're trading Turner AND Brogdon AND Hield. I'm guessing at most one of the three. Note also that Hield's salary declines over the next two years. Buddy's here to stay.

I surprisingly really have enjoyed Hield.. He is NOTHING like the player he was in Sacramento

Hield's just okay to me. Not a negative, but not a smashing difference maker either. I suppose I find Myles and Brogdon OK, but the former less OK than Hield and the latter considerably less OK than the other two. I'll give whoever's here to start next year a fair shake, but I really don't care of all three are gone. I'm hoping at least one, and preferably two, find their way off the opening day roster. But that's probably wishful thinking.
