Quote the chest-beating posts that were wrong. That's more fun.

So there has to be another trade I think.
i think Warren+Lamb will come close to replacing Bogie...I'm more worried about replacing Thad TBH....I'm thinking we get a bargain basement version of him still

So they’re trash on D if they can’t stop the two deadliest PFs in the league?

Plus, by the time KD returns we'll know a hell of a lot more about what we have in those two.

By all means pickup someone if possible but they will bring things Thad didn’t, especially Domas.

Hot Take: In 2 seasons, the Bucks will look foolish keeping Middleton instead of Brogdon.
Being unable to close out a game in which you have a comfortable lead in the 4th Q = Pulling a Frank Vogel

Do we still have some cap space to sign anyone?

Honestly I think Myles has the talent defensively to do it. Now that we have Goga and better D on the perimeter, maybe we can try to see what he can do defending out in space more often.

looking at some cheap (?) PF options who are still FAs:

                        Dragan Bender
                        Chiekh Diallo
                        Ken Fareid
                        Amir Johnson
                        Alex Poythress
                        Thabo Sefolosa
                        Noah Vonleh

This is where most of us don’t see eye to eye, to some people been able to matchup with KD/Simmons/Lebron/Zion and others is not a big deal because you don’t play them every single game so “who cares?” But some of us understand that been able to matchup with those people is the difference between getting out of the first round or advancing.

Right now Pacers don’t have one player that can matchup with those guys.

Right. The Pacers have had squads during the JO era and the PG/Hibbert era that could contend with the real powers around the league. We did get a nice player in Malcolm Brogdon and I appreciate that. But we lost Bojan. We did get a nice pick and Lamb is a decent player. But we lost Collison and while I didn't like his game he had some offensive spark. So losing Collison and gaining Lamb is probably a slight negative. Overall, I would say we are very close to last year. Not a bad team. Not remotely close to making noise in the playoffs. Just another Pacer year...
