Yep, we potentially traded 2 Malcom Brogdon’s and 1 Kawhi Leanord for 1 Malcom Brogdon.

      FML WORST OFFSEASON EVER.

I love the acquisition and I think the sky is the limit for him, but it’s possible we could see some regression. Playing with Giannis, Middleton etc. frequently made life easy for him on offense. That won’t be the case here especially before Vic returns.

Brogdon is big physical point guard, a 2-way player, and a great shooter. Former Rookie of the Year and he has All-Star potential. This is by far the best Free Agency pick-up in Pacers history!

When we’re healthy, we’ll have interchangeable guards in the backcourt. Brogdan and Vic can both play the 1or 2. Both have pretty good size and length and both are good defensively.

To be frank Brogdon reminds me of a slightly bigger version of George Hill.

Brogdon can make his free throws, though. He lead the league last year in percentage.

He maybe clutch but his first step is similar to Hill. How he gets separation looks similar and he looks like a guy that will try to play the right way. In all I can not be mad about the signing but at the end of thhe day I would be pleasantly suprised if he makes a all star team as a Pacer.

Very nice signing. We could use a bigger guard next to Dipo. He can both shoot and defend. Not a huge assist guy but he may be perfect next to Dipo, who often handles the ball, because he can definitely shoot and could defend the best offensive guard on the other team.

I think George Hill could have been a lot better if he was consistently aggressive. That was my gripe about him. Hopefully with a more pronounced role, Brogdon will be more aggressive than Hill.

Not sexy not flashy. But honestly makes us better in the long run than getting someone like Kemba Walker. Definitely better than Rubio or similar. on a good contract all things considered. I definitely think he has a chance at being an all star but that is not the point. His defense and size helps our team tremendously and he is good on offense and has more on ball opportunity here.

Well since I kept posting there was no way the Bucks would ever let Brogdon walk multiple times, it is only fair I quote myself from the other thread and point out multiple times I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.

Very switchable backcourt. We can unleash Vic on opposing PGs no problem now. Burke must be pumped

He is very good my only worry right now is that in paper the Pacers didn’t move an spot in the east because they lost a huge piece in Bogdanovic, Lamb is a decent bench piece but he is not Bogdanovic.

So there has to be another trade I think.
