key quote here "if healthy". lets hope our medical staff is ready to go. Malcolm does have foot concerns lets make sure we can manage that well - the contract is fully guaranteed so there is a risk there if he continues to have injury issues. overall still probably a solid signing.

Brogdon typically plays below the rim...I have yet to see a dunk from him in his highlight videos.

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

Wrong, I have been so right over the years I was starting to think that I was working for the Pacers front office lol

The sign and trade curse is dead and Bills is so happy he decided to write a book about it.

I wiill wait and see. I am not thrilled with the signing since he is expensive for a sign and trade but he does have positional flexibility. I like him more than Rubio for sure though just wish we didnt have to give up picks.

I don't care about the 2nd round picks ( we have a whole bunch of them ). But the 1st round pick?

Anyone have any idea about the protections on the 1st round pick?

I only bring this up because the last time that we traded our 1st round pick for another young but pseudo PG to a Playoff Team, it didn't end up well.

NOTE - I know it's not exactly the same....but you get my point.

Yea the second rounders are not that valuable but the first rounder sucks. Look what happen this year with the Pacers pick. Who is to say we wouldnt get another player to drop out of the lotto and into our hands.

I wonder if Brogdan will ever be better than T.J. Leaf?

This is a great move and even though we did send compensation this is still a free agent signing.
Would the consensus be that this is the biggest free agent signing in Pacers history? I mean West was 30 and coming off ACL surgery.
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!).

The 1st isn't an issue for me.

It more than likely will be in the last 3rd of the draft and it'll be a guaranteed contract that we really don't need riding the bench, taking up a roster spot.

I love the desperation in looking for a negative slant, keep it coming it’s great.
