Name one commissioner in sports that people actually LIKE.

Commissioners are lightning rods. Theya ren't supposed to be liked.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

      Division Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
      Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005

        Random draft ponderings....
        • How many times will the term 'upside' be used tonight?
        • Who will have the most best/worst-looking outfit? (Remember Jalen's rose-red mafia threads?)
        • Who will be the surprise draft pick that no one projected to go in the 1st round?
        • Which poor guy will be the one all by his lonesome in the player waiting area, still waiting to be picked?
Your horse is dead, get off it already...

          Bucks select Andrew Bogut. Shocking.

Can you say: 12 PPG, 8 RPG for his career?

              From the realgm.com link:

"7:32 PM: According to pacers.com the rumor involving Indiana's Jonathan Bender and the Lakers is completely false. "No such discussions are taking place, and there's nothing on the table with the Lakers."

I've always been pretty tough at these picks I think Marvin Williams will go second but I always go out on limbs nobody else expects him to go that high.

Obviously you guys have never listened to Dick Vitale. And I don't think Bilas is that bad.

Marvin Williams is picked up by the Hawks.

                      Poor Marvin.

Is there any radio station doing this that is giving contiuous Pacers coverage?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Interesting line at EGAYPN: "Bogut is the first college player chosen No. 1 since 2000."
