I like it. Always been a fan of DC2. He'll be 30 next month. Would have preferred Cory Joseph for sure but once that news got leaked I knew it was dead & wasn't happening. So far it's looking like 85% of the board doesn't like this move so that's always a good thing.

Needed to spend the money on somebody and guessing a small amount guaranteed the 2nd year...not a bad move.

Kind of depends on how partial. Will owe Al $4 MIL next season too. Cap space for leverage in trades will be more important than cap space for signings the next couple of years

My problem is Pacers are aiming to be mediocre, I want really bad or really good, DC makes Pacers mediocre.

I disagree. He's neutral at best, and I don't think he's adding a single win to the record that we wouldn't get by just starting Lance. It's a move to have a full roster with a small contract and easy out.

Also what is the point of having Young this whole time if you can't even trust him to play point guard on a **** team?

Young could have gotten a chance before they signed Brooks. It doesn't look like he will ever get a real chance. He is just a fringe "G" league player.

I know that I am in the minority....but I would have taken Corey Joseph and DeMarre Carroll. I know that Carroll has a big contract....but it's just 2 years and he's at least a somewhat capable 3D Forward.

The $10 mil is just under the amount of Salary cAp space that we have without letting CJ Miles Cap Hold go.

It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up re-signing CJ as our future Starting SF to some overpaid contract.

Also don't forget there is a salary floor.

The salary floor doesn't mean ****. I don't know why people care so much about it. You don't get penalized at all for going under it.
