Yes, Solomon Hill played so well last year, that Bird traded for Budinger as an insurance policy to make sure Solomon Hill would not play

lol I never said Solomon Hill would be an all star. Just that he would make a lot of good plays. He just makes smart basketball plays, and I like those kinds of players.
        Time for a new sig.

Just as you were wrong about Solomon Hill last year, you will be wrong about Turner this year
Not me. I think Okafor will be a bust.

Given the slot where Turner was drafted, and the abundance of big men in this rookie class, I think it would be darned impressive if he simply made the all-rookie team. There would certainly be no shame in that, and anything more would be pure gravy.

Let's get this back to Hibbert. People think that we will suffer defensively without Roy. Maybe we will temporarily. People seem to be ignoring that Turner is a shot blocking machine. In a year or so, Myles will be just fine at rim protection. He is known to block shots off the friggin shot clock.

Myles can get his hand 15ft into the air now?

You didn't hear about his 68 inch vertical? lol
I don't quite think that is what he meant.. Although I do not have any real idea what he meant.

I'm thinking he's talking about Turner's block in summer league, which wasn't off the backboard in any sense. But Roy should have shown us that jumping ability and rim protection aren't necessarily hand in hand. Good for Myles though, I guess.

Poo pooing on someone because the think he has a chance to be ROY is pessimistic.

Who said anything about anything but the opinion? Good grief, it really is OK to have different opinions and point out why one disagrees with someone else without being labeled an extremist.

Extremist? All I pointed out was that was a pessimistic thing to do. I even said kinda, I believe.(ediy:I should have used the kinda)

Yes, I think Okafor is seriously over-rated and will be exposed on defense big time. He has some gifts on offense but he's not the next DeMarcus Cousins.

JMO, but with the league going to small ball lineups, Okafor will more valuable than he might 5 yrs ago. His lack of vertical and defense will be less exposed and his offense will be better playing smaller guys. There's going to be lots of guys that were OK players before, but end up being better as other teams downsize.
