    Alabama-Redneck has passed away

    Rick Broadstreet aka Alabama-Redneck passed away on Tuesday. While over the past few years he rarely posted anything beyond the guess the score game he was one of the original digest members and was a devoutly loyal fan of the Pacers. He was an avid Ron Artest fan and was unapologetic in his defense of the brawl team.

    He did show up one time for one of our gatherings as he was in town from Alabama at the time and we all enjoyed his insights and humor.

    He was 82 years of age.

                                                  I think he was the first person I connected with on this board being he was from Alabama and I had just moved here from Indy a few years prior....RIP.
