Yeah...we looked like a real team for a quarter. That was nice.

I want Jims' head, and I want to nominate myself as new interim coach.

So if you're of the belief that the team has quit, which players do you list by name?

Ones I'm sure have NOT quit:

Hibbert
Hansbrough
Price
McRoberts
Head
S. Jones
Granger
Foster

Ones I'm not sure about:

Murphy
Dunleavy
D. Jones
Watson
Ford
Rush

Incomplete:
Diener

Well going into tonights game 5 out of the next 6 games were against teams below .500. The Pacers have started out 0-1. At least, they weren't blown out by 34 points. To be quite honest I expected the Pacers to lose by more than 9 points. Oh well, the Pacers are tied for 4th pick in the John Wall lottery.

A bit off topic, I loved the new Star Trek. The only change I would have made is to have made Patrick Stewart as the council chairman, rather than Tyler Perry. Great avatar though Hicks.

Murphy hasn't quit IMO. He's the same guy he always was and I have a lot of respect his effort night-in and night-out - at the very least, he's consistent.

I actually think that Granger has quit on O'Brien, but he's certainly not interested in losing. Same might go for Dahntay Jones - dude doesn't like to lose.

For now, I'm not going to put all of the blame on JO'B for this particular loss......we're just not that good of a team. The only aspect of JO'Bs coaching that I do not like is the one part that many have been harping on......the need for a more structured offense. I think that we have many smart Players that are able to execute plays....why we don't and allow for whatever offense we run is beyond me.

Heck, we're not even a mediocre Team....cuz mediocre Teams are able to have a chance at beating other Lottery bound Teams. The truth is that whatever we are doing now is not working.......if we continue on this path.....we're a Lottery Team.

Really? I thought it was terrible! It was ok for an action movie, but I thought it was by far the worst of all the star trek movies.

More OT trekkie stuff, are any of you guys going to be playing the new Star Trek Online MMORPG coming out in a couple months? I am pretty stoked about that one, I hope they don't blow it!

With the current personnel, the Pacers would be incredibly easy to defend running a structured offense like San Antonio or the Lakers, especially without Granger.

They might look smart trying to execute such a scheme, but they'd also struggle to score mightily.

I'd agree with this list too. Except I'd say they've nearly all quit on the coach. Some of them haven't quit but it's clear to me the team has mostly tuned O'Brien out.

I wouldn't say Dahntay has quit, but I do think he is frustrated with Jim's bizarre coaching and terrible defensive lineups. Especially after the great start they had with him being the leader on the court.

He does seem to take losing hard, he is one of those kinda players, the kind I really like. I hope he doesn't totally go into some sinkhole of depression and frustration over the next year and half, because I want him to be a part of the Pacers when they matter in a few years.
