    I thanked your post due to its context but I also wanted to thank you for keeping your avatar. That Dahntay pic is awesome. And it's not the only awesome pic that Dahntay has given us.

    Dahntay deserves to be commemorated in PD somehow. He gave us a lot of great celebration pics this past season. I'm happy that someone uses this avatar and reminds us of him

        How can you be so sure? Green and Mahinmi both have upside and are pretty good right now. Can you imagine Green and PG running the lanes? Just throw it up and get a picture of the results!

            Does anyone remember the backlash that happened when we traded for JO? I am just saying we need to give this guy a chance before we decide that it was a worthwhile trade? IMO our bench got better today and we are more balanced to the style that we play.

                Until we get a point guard, we aren't getting any better. That doesn't mean we've gotten worse either, but we haven't done anything to improve our biggest need.

                        Clearly, we are better. Our backup PF/C was our worst position last year. Ian is an upgrade over Amundson. Lou's problem was that he had a scorer's mentality, but was usally lousy offensively. Nothing more unintentionally humorous than when Lou would mess up alley-opp dunks.

                            I think we are a bit better but you are right, we still need a point guard with floor vision(DJ or Felton could help here), a guy that can create for himself and score at will(Jason Richardson, Mayo?) we need another big SF to be able to guard Lebron(Pietrus, Marion?) and we also need another big that can defend(Ivan Johnson,Jared Jeffries?)

                                        I like the Green signing, I suppose. But unless we move Hansbrough and try to get another PG, I don't see the point in getting Mahinmi. I like Lance, but I don't view him as the type of point guard we need coming off the bench. I do like what I'm seeing of Mahinmi, though.

                                        That said, I think Dallas had a great day yesterday in getting Collison, Jones, and Kaman.

                                            Green is an improvement over Barbosa, whom I liked. Green plays two positions. More athletic. Better fit for the team.

                                                If Ian is a total bust this trade still doesn't rank in the top 5 of P history. That homey isn't up on P trade history or he would know that.
