    Default J.O. Out Six Weeks?

Sorry if this is somewhere else - I am in shock - Snapper Jones on the game just said that he spoke to Jermaine and it is at least 3 weeks, but probably more like six.

Holy crap this season is from hell.

They said there is a possibility that he could be out more like six weeks. The scary thing to me is they said the Pacers initially are thinking 3 weeks. I dont remember hearing that from the Star! They acted like he would be out a couple of days now it is 3 to 6 weeks.

Yeah thats the type of year we are having, the guys on our roster will have to dig deep and pull their best games out of them every night for us to win with out Jamaal and JO. But they just might be hungry enough to do it and get this team in, it will be hard but maybe they can do it.

Surely if J.O. is out that means we are getting someone back. That is how it has gone all year. If not Jamaal maybe that means we are going to get Ron back. (or it could be dale) Wow holly cow Villeneuve just spun and managed to get the car under controll without hitting the wall!!!

Looking on the bright side if J.O is out for an extended period of time he'll be really healthy for the playoffs. Obviously that is if his shoulder heals. But he won't have the usual nagging injuries he always gets. Remember how well he played the first 10 games or so after he returned from suspension.

Way to look at the bright side of things. I would have thought you would be in full depression mode after the Sager report.

Problem is there is NO WAY we will get to the playoffs without J.O., Ron and a wide assortment of players who aren't able to play at 100%.

Let's just hope we get a reasonable pick this year from the lottery.

I hope we play like crap, so we can get a high draft pick, personally. Even if we manage to squeak into the 8th seed, we'll get destroyed by Miami if it takes JO 6 weeks to heal. Well-rested is one thing, but you're talking about rust, not rest. Keep in mind that while JO was suspended, he was completely healthy, so he got about 3 weeks of uninterrupted practice time. This time around he's going to be riding a stationary bike for excercise and obviously not shooting at all until they're positive he's almost fully healed. So, when JO plays that first game, he will have 3-6 weeks of not even touching the ball in his past. Forget about it guys, this "season" is over. Might as well give some PT to the young guys and start planning who we're going to draft to fill a hole (backup PG or SF anyone?)

Oh, and don't confuse me with the doom and gloom committee. I'm not upset about us being terrible because I'm a loyal fan and I know things will improve. This just isn't our year.

I don't put much weight into the Sager report. Not saying it is a false report, but seems like old news. As of right now Ron is out for the season, everyone knows that. There would have to be a major decision change by Stern to allow Ron back.

That means that is the minimum amount he will be out since he is on the IR list.
