    Default 2014/2015 Schedule

    Schedule is out...

    http://www.nba.com/pacers/schedule

3 ESPN games, and 2 TNT games...man that injury really sucks...

Pacers @ Suns December 2nd, might have a conflict with that date, hopefully I can go still though.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Notable... Lance comes back for the first time November 19th, always a day in infamy as Pacer fans

Schedule gets brutal from mid November into December, tons of road games, and lots against the west.

well, I couldn't ask for a better opening game to build confidence in our team. We could have a .500 record going into November.

I feel like that Pacers @ Heat game in November on ESPN was almost pity for both teams lol, for the last few years.

Yeah, it's weird, there seems to be a Knicks @ Pacers game on TNT the last few years now...

We have a fairly reasonable opening run of 10 or so games. Hopefully that will build confidence as we move through the season.

Very nice stretch of home games in late Feb to late March.

February 6 to March 6 will be a fun time to be at Bankers Life. San Antonio, New York, Chicago, Cleveland twice, and Golden State.

On the other hand, the Sixers peaked in Game 1 last season if I remember correctly. They beat the Heat in their opener IIRC.

Looking forward to season without any worries. What else bad could happen, could anything worse happen. If the pacers win 38 games I won't be upset. A stress free season

I am curious what would've happened for the Christmas games if PG were healthy. Wizards for sure get swapped out, wonder if they would've done Pacers @ Knicks or Pacers @ Bulls and moved the Lakers to New York.

Really sad to see this topic, not even close to 1 page full, shows how low the expectation level is.

Just looking at the schedule I counted 32 games that I think we can win. I think we get a player and another player will step up. So I am going with 36 wins so far.

Best part is that even without PG we still have more national TV games than Charlotte.

That is interesting, I guess Lance isn't the national star some would like to believe.

I am always of the belief that November(vs later in the season) is when it is much easier to beat the really good teams.

And vice versa November (vs later in the season) is when it is more difficult to beat the really bad teams.

Spurs for example are usually not that good in November and a lot of bad teams seem to start the season OK. The cream always rises.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the extended allstar break.

With the Pacers as constructed, unless Scola returns to his Rocket days, which I doubt, the Pacers will be 8-25 by the end of the year and trades will have already begun. JMO

Will be in the race for lotto.

Nah bro, George Hill will go back to his fabled SAS aggressive days, because Lance's presence was the reason he refused to take open shots last season. He's good for 15/5/5 easily, he just didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. Hibbert will turn into a featured player on offense and finally find consistency, because he's the only "selfish dude" left. CJ Miles will have a breakout season. D West will defeat father time. And then when PG comes back next year they'll all continue to defy common sense and trend upward!

In all seriousness, if Solomon Hill wins Most Improved Player and one of the above reaches happens, then the team might be around .500 by the end of the year.

The Pacers, as they currently stand, will win between 35-42 games next season which will get them anywhere from the 7 seed to just missing the playoffs.
