    Default Purdue Athletics 2014-15

Guess it's that time of year. Nowhere to go but up this year, pretty much literally.

Got Kansas State and Bruce Weber in the 1st round of Maui, so that'll be cool to see. Also always good to have a chance to get some revenge for 88.

Well, basketball. But that's a low hurdle.

Will football win a Big Ten game? I don't think so.

Iowa, @ Ill, @ Minn, @ Neb, Wisc, NW, MSU, @ IU. At Illinois's the best chance, maybe sorta Iowa since it's at home, and never know about the Bucket. I'll be optimistic and say we pull the upset over the Illini and that's it.

Volleyball opens their year at 8th in the country, which is still only 4th in the Big Ten. Penn State's 1, Wisconsin 6, Nebraska 7. Also Illinois at 11, Minnesota 12, MSU 16, and Michigan with a lot of votes. Didn't realize the Big Ten was so stacked in that sport.

Volleyball games were my favorite games to go to the last two years I was there.

They'll be double digit underdogs in all of them.

Figured E'T would get another shot somewhere. Seemed solid when he played in Orlando.

I've barely even paid any attention to fball, hard to be excited about it. The Hazell effect wore off quick.

Grigson "challenged" Hazell to the ALS water bucket thing, Purdue alum and all. Hazell didn't do it and pulled the "cutting a check" card. C'mon Grandpa.

I like Hazell more now. I'm tired of the bucket stuff. They need more checks anyway, not people dumping cold water on themselves.

*all the above assuming he actually did cut a check obviously.

hoops schedule's out, only got Wisky, State, and Michigan once each. the schedule as a whole looks...pretty easy. I know they're young and yada yada, but they really should win 20 games and be a (weak) bubble team. They don't it's time to hire some headhunters.

So does Isaac Haas have any potential. He is tall and has a 7'5" wingspan. He looks to be in decent shape.

I can't speack specifically, but I think Haas is supposed to be pretty promising. 4 star and 87 on ESPN top 100 for whatever it is worth.

Plus, 7'1" and supposedly up to 300 lbs. Pretty good chance at being decent at that size. Hammons and Haas is going to be nice.

of course it's real, and I'm going to buy out every single copy and make it platinum.

I'm praying this is real. If it's not, it's an awesome joke and Robbie Hummel cements his grasp on my most respected Boiler athlete ever.

damn, Rico got cut down to the Atlanta practice squad. I said when he got drafted 5th round seemed nutty high for him, just too small, but hey you still got a job Rico so get it done.

Well Frankie had a decent return if it weren't for the hold. He did destroy their punter/kicker though.

I'm also very, very far from impressed with Etling. Pretty disappointed actually.

After another ****** drive I'm pretty tempted to just say he sucks. Didn't look great last week and missing wide open guys left and right.
