Default So maybe it's too early...

But look at these major sports news sites and try and find a mention of Dale Davis' intent to sign with the pacers:

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nba

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/

    http://www.nba.com/

Have they just not caught up or do they just not think it is as big of a deal as we do?

He hasn't even signed with us yet, and yes of course they don't think it's that big of a deal to the major sports outlets.

Although I don't think that this is "Blockbuster" news, I do think that it's at least worthy of a mention considering that he's probably ending his career with the team he started with.

So it's probably still too early

Perhaps it's not "blockbuster" by itself, but couple this signing with the return of Artest, and it becomes a part of a HUGE story.... the return of the Pacers to Championship Contender status!

Well sure coupled with Artest, imagine the media frenzy.

Even Pacers.com QOTD is on Dale and Conrad only assumes that DD might sign later this week...

Dale was the heart and soul of that team. Reggie and Rik got the headlines, but Dale was the glue. (I could argue that the other starting forward was also very important, but I wobn't go there)

Dale was one of those players that the average fan does not really notice all the things he does until he is gone
