Apparently Muamba has 12 tackles...go Muamba!
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Too bad Jeff Saturday wasn't old and like 150lbs now. We could definitely use a reliable center.

Sigh. Hopefully he will not to much. We cannot afford him being out long term.

Seriously, all you want from preseason is to get out of it healthy and of course we lose our starting center.

What's the deal with our strength and conditioning program? Somebody isn't doing their job well. E

OK it's preseason and neither scores matter and starters get 2 outings at best most of the time but I saw positive things. A lighter and slightly better Trich. More confident if I may say. Herron was impressive too. Also loved our up tempo offense. Finally, it appears that someone in the sidelines has seen the light. Luck is special and the combination of him and TY in the present/future....

Also loved how defense fared in the limited time they were out there. Werner could be in for a good year.

    PS: Geno Smith's decision making.

Our offense was marching up the field right up until the Holmes injury. It was high tempo and Luck was shredding them. Hilton will be a beast this year. Then the Holmes injury happen and the drive stalled. His backup, Harrison, snapped the ball over Luck's head on that third down.

Play calling was great in the first half. I didn't see the 2nd half since I didn't care, but the offense did great in the first. Vinatieri missed a field goal and that scrub came in at center. That's 7 points off the board that we should have had.

I'm pretty excited about our wide receiver depth. Hilton, Moncrief, and Rogers looked good, and we had 2 of our top 3 out for this game.

I don't know if I like Moncrief as KR, it didn't seem like he was used to returning kicks...

I don't want to see T.Y. return punts either. He's exciting, but I would hate to see him get hurt doing it.

Also, Luck has to be frustrated with the o-line injuries. He's been running for his life the first two years, and it looks like he'll be doing it a third.

I just looked at the box score. Good to see Trent Richardson is in midseason form

I'm not sure how he'll find any running room since we don't have DHB for defenses to focus on.

I will say this, between him blocking in the backfield and Allen being back, Luck should be able to play really well against the blitz...

All of the running backs who played did well from what I saw. Herron looks like he might be the answer for the 3rd running back.

I was impressed with our first team on both sides of the ball for the first pre-season game, especially our defense.

I really like Dqwell Jackson, also Werner looked like Mathis. We also have a huge D-Line

Scobee is the worst. I swear he could hit from 70 against us. Who could also forget the Bironas 60 yarder.
Correct me if I'm wrong...but didn't that happen in back-to-back losses?

I'm sure they did their homework before rolling this out. Unless Jimmy got high and dreamed it up all by himself.

Well at least we'll finally have the answer to the question of should the Dolphins have drafted Brady Quinn back in 2007

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...with-dolphins/

Report: Brady Quinn signs with Dolphins

FOX can wait. And possibly not for long.

Quarterback Brady Quinn, who recently took at job handling college and pro football for FOX Sports, may not be available when football season begins. According to Jeff Darlington of NFL Network, Quinn has signed with the Dolphins.

The move puts Quinn on the team that famously passed on him in the 2007 draft with the ninth overall pick, opting instead for Ted Ginn. Quinn slid to the Browns at No. 22 that year.

It appeared hed slide out of the NFL permanently. But the Dolphins have needs at a minimum for a camp arm. After working out Quinn, John Skelton, and Rex Grossman, the Dolphins opted to sign Quinn.

Quinn will know by August 30 whether he has won a spot on the 53-man roster.

The Dolphins become the seventh NFL team by which he has been employed. After starting off in Cleveland, Quinn has played for the Broncos, Chiefs, Seahawks, Jets, and Rams.

This is was posted by nfl.com

More than a few Miami Dolphins fans were peeved when the team passed up Brady Quinn in the 2007 draft in favor of wide receiver and return man Ted Ginn.

Seven years later, the "Dolfans" have their man.

I heard on the radio the starters should play about a quarter. Landry and Davis should see the field too even though they've been battling injuries. I just hope nobody else gets hurt.

After the last season Eli had, he's probably pretty happy to get back to the friendly confines of LOS where he has some good memories lol.
