oh my god
oh my god
Why are people so negative? Why not just pray for Paul George and for the Solomon Hill to step up his game. Life must go on.
All i can take from this event is that FIBA Basketball is ****, with their goal tending, trapezoid lane, and shorter baseline widths. Pure Garbage.
FIBA Needs to get their heads out of their rears and adopt the same standards as North American Basketball. The game was invented here and developed here and is the standard barer for the sport.

You can't get champagne from a garden hose.
He's probably in surgery right now. I hope it's going well. :-(.
Selfish fan's perspective, but it sucks how injuries have robbed Indiana and Chicago fans of what should have been a great rivalry in the first part of the 10's.
And the hits just keeps coming.......
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.
I couldn't have surgery until the following day because the rod appliance had to be custom made overnight. Spent the night with leg in traction.
Hopefully the fact that Paul is a professional athlete will help move that process along more quickly.
LOOK AT THAT ****. UNACCEPTABLE. YOU GIVE PG THAT EXTRA SPACE AND HE'S FINE RIGHT NOW
This is a freak accident, nothing more. They've played summer league and USA games there for the longest and this has never been an issue before. It just sucks worse for us cause it happened to a Pacer.
im crying. that is so horrible
Yeah, that's some amateur **** there. The NBA needs to throw a fit. USA Basketball was very negligent here.
Whoever set baskets that close should go play in traffic.
I cried as well. I feel terrible for him.
I was offline for a few hours and turned to the 11 o'clock news and I was wondering why they were all so somber. Then they showed this.
Best case scenario is that he only misses the season. (Weird how Coach K was there for this and Kevin Ware) it also makes losing Lance that much worse now.
I wonder what Larry will say tomorrow I hope no more Pacers get involved in these exhibition events this is why
Get well soon PG24
I hate Vegas now.
I don't even know what to say. I'm still in complete shock at this. I just hope that he is able to eventually bounce back from this. I anticipate this season will be an interesting one, but right now all I can think about is PG getting better.
It's not over until God says it's over.
As crazy athletic and fast as NBA players are and as often as players collide with those backstops even at the NBA distance from the court, this was only a matter of time and should have been anticipated and addressed. Absolute bush league.
Well here is the video, he basically got blind sided by the Post, he wasn't expecting it to be that close, and didn't look where he would land. Totally a random and unfortunate injury that was preventable.
He went from playing for his country with a collection of some of the best players in the world on national tv with his family in attendance, to his career being threatened in a matter of seconds. I'm still in shock like everyone else. Just can't get the image out of my head.
I'm numb. As everybody else has said first and foremost my thoughts are with PG, and his family. Life comes before Basketball. Next season is going to be hard.
My uncle is the lead orthopedic surgeon at the biggest hospital in vegas. Not sure if they kept him at UNLV medical center or not. I will be putting in a call to him tomorrow regardless.
It's supposed to be behind the white line. **** UNLV and **** Las Vegas and **** college basketball. I wish that program would get the death penalty.
