Default Bobby "Slick" Leonard: Heart of a Hoosier

According to WFYI's webpage, they will be airing the documentary "Bobby "Slick" Leonard: Heart of a Hoosier" on WFYI 1 on August 7th at 9:00PM. Being that I live outside of the WFYI viewing area, I won't be able to watch this documentary. Is there anyone that is planning to record this documentary that would be willing to share it??

Could be available after airing on the website. The Roger Brown documentary was for quite a while.

Weren't the Pacers supposed to host a viewing party for this at the fieldhouse?

Just got home from the screening.

You will smile, you will cry, you will laugh, A LOT.

Another outstanding documentary from Ted Green. If you live in the WFYI viewing area, consider yourself a Pacer or Hoosier fan and do NOT watch this, then turn in your fancard and get the hell out of Indiana. Okay, maybe that's a little harsh, but it is that good!

Boyle's "we'd all be Colts fans" comment was inaccurate. Being a Colts or Pacers fan is not a one or the other thing. Most people on this forum are fans of both. If the past two years have shown us anything, it's that the Pacers and Colts can both be popular at the same time.

Not as much as I miss Scott Hoke.

I wish they would make this into a DVD and sell it at the Gift Shop. I bet it would sell well.

Is there anywhere to watch this online or know when it will air again? I missed it last night, won't have WFYI for a little bit.

    Fantastic.

    *snif*

    No, that's my allergies. Really.

My great-grandparents lived in that same area of Terre Haute (my great-grandfather was an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad). For me, the quick glimpses of things I remembered (the old Union Station, the interlocking tower at the tracks as you head into the Avenues, the corner store) were almost as powerful as Slick's story itself.
