It would have to be vet minimum I believe.
Thanks, he's not as good of a Player as Lance is.....but at that price.....giving 6th Man or Starter Minutes at a Vet Minimum signing....it's a decent to solid signing.

I JUST PRAY THAT that Stuckey doesn't turn out to be another ET where he is a bad fit for the offense.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

    More like Rodney Yuckey...amiright, guys?

But seriously, hope he turns it around for us this year. Not terrible for the vet minimum. Prove 'em wrong, Rodney!

I saw several Detroit fans saying before the terms were released that they were expecting it to be for MLE-ish money, so there's that. But they haven't seen good basketball in 10 years, so there's that too.

Here is a post from the Pistons forum, most of them think he will fit in well and do well here.
I refuse to trust a Pistons fan who is pulling for a Pacers player.

Sad Fact: Lance Stephenson is gone. Happy opinion: We are better off because he is a huge reason the team imploded last year.
To be fair....Until someone like Candace, Agness or the FO confirms this..........this is just an assumption on our end. We have no facts here.

    Here at Pacers Digest,

Chris Copeland: nowhere to go but down
Rodney Stuckey: nowhere to go but up

What a wild day. Still reeling from the implications.

Just got home, for the amount they signed him for its a good signing. A 14ppg scorer in 26 minutes per is good production. I like the fact he bullies defenders on offense and goes to the basket strong. Whichever one starts Miles or Stuckey the other should provide instant offense off the bench- that is if Frank ever learns how to use a bench. Unlike most bench players we've signed of late these 2 are use to coming off the bench.

I'd like CJ Watson to start, and BOTH Miles and Stuckey coming off the bench.

What Stuckey at back-up 1? Or Miles at back-up 3?

Our bench has potential to be very good, if Vogel can figure out how to use it (I think Vogel improves, he is a young coach, and I think that is often overlooked). Assuming we start Hill/Miles/George/West/Hibbert it means our bench rotation will likely be Watson/Stuckey/Solo/Scola/Mahinmi

Stuckey back up 1/2, Miles 2/3, Solo 2/3, Cope 3/4

    Watson and Hill starting.

I liked the ball movement when they played together

Oh sorry, forgot about Watson starting, I would prefer Miles to start, but whoever wins the starting job in training camp between Watson/Miles/Stuckey I am fine with.

We should havd signed Sean Kilpatrick. He was hard to scout due to the way Cincinnati used him. But he is a pro no doubt. Shooting with the ball handle and play making. He is going to primarily be a D and 3 guy but a good one imo.

In Stuckey's defense, he always seemed to play well against the Pacers. He's strong can get to the basket and finish. He's good at drawing fouls and knocking down his free throws. He's a good ball handler that can handle a defensive press.

This is a solid pickup for a bench 6th man type of player. Signing him for one year at the vet minimum is also a good value.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

I think we needed another PG, preferably a starting quality PG, not this crap.
How would we get them? We don't have enough cap space and no one would trade a starting quality player for one of our bench players.

Exactly. People act like this is a video game and you can just force a team to trade you what you want.

For the one year vet minimum, you sure could do a lot worse than a 28 year old with a 13.4 PPG career average. Sure he has his faults, but I'll gladly take him for the vet minimum.
