As long as Wade can play 60% of the year or so, if they have Bosh and Wade the Heat are probably still a top 5 seed in the East. If Wade is healthy in the playoffs, they could be a tough out. I would see what their full supporting cast looks like before condemning them.
My prediction: Solomon Hill is going to lead the team in Surprisingly Good Plays for the year. -10/29/2014

You crazy man, this dude is nothing but a stretch 4 now. You don't pay max dollars for a stretch 4.

It's going to be nice beating them whether in Miami or Cleveland.

I bet Bosh goes to work on the block a lot more often this year, he will be the default no. 1 option most nights. In Toronto he sometimes drifted outside too much, but he also banged inside.

Next year's playoffs, first round: Pistons (revenge for the brawl that we never got with Reggie), second round: Heat (take out 3 years worth of frustration), conference finals: Cavs (dethroning the King).

Miami is going to be a .500 team next season. Frustration move from Riley.

He's signing a 5-year max deal. Houston's offer was extreme, and this one trumps it by $26 million. No one passes up that absurd contract.

But Houston was the better team to sign with.

    $26 million>better team

Let's not pretend that anyone else with common sense wouldn't have made that same decision.

Bosh has his 2 rings. Time for one last big payday.

That ties up lots of Heat money for a long time on a guy who is not an elite player. I feel even better now. Big mistake for Riley. More than half of heat salaries will go to Wade and Bosh.

I hate Wade more than LeBron. And Bosh has talked a lot of **** about us, as well.

I'm with you. 2 rings + $118 million sure does look pretty. The fans and front office might regret it in 3 years, but Chris Bosh sure as hell won't

Good signing for Miami. Pat Riley isn't in this to suck, and signing Bosh at least makes Miami a formidable team

He makes them a mediocre team.

Wade will either miss 1/3 of the season again or play the full season and either get hurt or play like ****.

Miami without LeBron James and with DWade a year older isn't a scary team. When Wade sits...and he will do that a lot...the Heat will stink. LeBron makes all the players on that team much better.

Yes, he takes them out of the lottery up to about .500.

Not to mention Allen is leaving too, and he was their 4th wheel.

Their whole roster right now is Bosh, Napier, Cole and Justin Hamilton. Even if they re-sign Wade, what can they possibly add to that?

Tim Duncan has rings and he has signed for less the last three contracts. And that is why he Manu and Parker have more rings that Bosh, Wade, and Lebron.

If you are making that much money and your earning potential is that high, I doubt the $26 million was that big of a deal. We've read for years how much Bosh and his wife love living in Miami. I think that is the biggest reason, although the extra scratch doesn't hurt.
