If this move gets Scola out of town, I might buy the dude's jersey. LOL If Scola does stay(heaven forbid) has anybody considered that by signing shooters they might be considering moving Scola down low where he is more effective. Don't know why they didn't use him like that in the first place.
Youtube videos determine everything, if he can be a great shooter and pass the ball I think he's a good signing depending on money...I assume/hope this is a pretty cheap deal, but no idea until numbers come out.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
----------------- Reggie Miller
He reminds me of Peja Stojakovic. Looks like he can shoot 3s good but that's about all he brings to the table. No rebounding and that's a concern to me. I'd rather go with the guys we have
I never expected him to come to the NBA. This signing came completely out of left field for me.
In any case, I did know who Rudež is before today. I remember him playing with Croatia in the 2013 EuroBasket. He did a very good job hitting 3s (he shot 51.6% throughout the 10 games of the tournament, 16/31 in total) and he really helped his NT to reach the Semi-Finals. He was their leading scorer in the match against Finland (scoring 17 points by going 5/8 from 3 point land and having me swearing at him because I wanted Finland to win ) and he also made two crucial 3s in overtime against Slovenia in a game that Croatia won by 2 points (http://www.eurobasket2013.org/en/cid...ndID_8722.html).
I really didn't think that our FO cared about the European FA market. I'm pleasantly surprised and a bit shocked by this move.
this guy can flat out shoot. He plays more like a guard
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.
yeah, he is a small forward. Not a stretch-4 at all.
He isn't 6'10 either. ACB's site had him listed at 2.05 which translates to a little under 6'9. Of course, it's common to see European players measure higher in the NBA than they did in Europe since most European measurements happen without shoes.
Lavoy Allen's made 2 threes in his career. You're hilarious grimp.
At a salary starting at $1.1m, it's a cost effective signing at least. From what I've read, this fellow seems to project as a shooting specialist.
story with a lot of background on him, lot of upbringing and whatnot, run through Google Translate

Damjan reminds me a lot of Teletovic. Which isn't a bad thing. I like a lot of parts of Teletovics game.
Stop quoting people I have on ignore!
