Considering they seem to be better WITHOUT Webber, I'd say it just opened back up.....

Not to mention this gives them a lot more depth off the bench.

Peja was averaging close to 30ppg last season without Webber. Lets see if that was a fluke or not.

WTF where the kings thinking by doing this deal? I understand if they got Big Dog's contract or even Dalembert but they got 3 bums for a Top 5-10 PF. Stupid asses just made the Sixers twice as strong.

Corliss and Kenny Thomas are hardly bums. KT is a legit starting PF in the NBA, and Corliss is a fine 6th man that thrives in an up-tempo game.

SKinner is another story, but he's an offensive player and they could use that off the bench......

Maybe Webber, with his age and health, just isn't that valuable anymore....

Let's convince the Celtics to dump us Pierce in a similar deal.

Eh, Nasty goes to a better situation in Sacramento, where all he has to do is put the ball in the basket.

Webber gets his wish as the ONLY post option on the sixers, where he wont be crowded.....

While they might improve without Chris I still have too question if that was the best they could have gotten or how well the pieces they got will fit. Usually when you trade a name like that you want to get or put yourself in position to get a simillar player--which I don't think the Kings did.

Webber is an older player on a max contract with a knee that hasn't lasted a full season in a long time.....

despite his numbers, I dont think he had much value.

You would think they could squeeze a draft pick out from Philly.

Maybe. But you gotta hate going back to a team that dumped you once before (unless you're Lindsey Hunter). Plus, Big Nasty in purple is not a pretty sight. 'Course I'm biased to red, white and blue.

End of an era, for sure.

I tuned into the Warriors/Hawks game and Dale is playing. I wonder if that means they are not doing the Dale for Baron trade. You would think they would sit him out if they were moving him.

I wouldn't read much into that. It just means they don't have a deal in place right NOW. They still have till 4pm tomorrow.

After I posted that it ocured to me that the Hornets may be doing this only as a salerie dump and may not care if Dale is healthy or not anyway.

It would be wierd seing Dale being coached by Byron.
