Post Nevermind, I think it's fake.

This is the link I thought was real, but now I don't. No mention of it on their main page, and they spalled Dwyane wrong in the article, and it's not all over ESPNews and the like. Fake.

It's definitely fake. He's not getting an MRI until tomorrow.

Shaq to have MRI on knee Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS -- Heat center Shaquille O'Neal was walking unassisted Wednesday, a day after taking a frightening fall in the first two minutes of his team's 105-101 overtime loss in Chicago.

The initial diagnosis remains a strained left knee, although more will not be known until an MRI is taken Thursday in Miami and the joint is examined by team physician Harlan Selesnick.

O'Neal traveled with the team overnight Tuesday to Indianapolis, but the decision was made to wait for further evaluation until the team returns early Thursday morning to South Florida. The 7-foot-1, 330-pound veteran is being held out of tonight's game against the Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.

O'Neal went down clutching his left knee 1 minute, 35 seconds into Tuesday's game at the United Center after he stumbled into Bulls power forward Othella Harrington while trying to corral a pass from teammate Dwyane Wade.

While O'Neal needed assistance getting to the X-ray room, he was able to walk several feet back to the Heat locker room on his own at the United Center.

He limped to the team bus late Tuesday night, but by the time the team arrived early Wednesday in Indianapolis that limp was gone.

After missing 15 games in each of the previous three seasons while with the Lakers, O'Neal, until Wednesday night, had missed only one this season, a Dec. 21 victory over the Celtics, with a bruised left calf.

The knee has been a problem for O'Neal before. He missed three games for the Lakers in 2002-03 with a sore left knee and 28 for the Lakers in '96-97 with a hyper-extended left knee.

"Of course it's a concern,'' coach Stan Van Gundy said after Tuesday's game. "Obviously it's a concern."

By Saturday's home game against Orlando, a reinforcement should be in place, with Alonzo Mourning to join the team as a free agent.

Here is the real Miami Herald article as written by Isreal Gutierrez...

There is no sports writer for the Herald by the name of Haime Gonzalez that I am aware of or is listed by the Herald.

Dwayne Wade is still there. Should be Dwyane. But that's besides the point; the fakers can fix that easily. And this would be all over the website; but there's no link to the article anywhere on the miami herald site. And it's a diff. url than the rest of the site. It's fake.

The guy just appoligized on ESPN News about reporting the article. I don't know if it was the same guy that reported it (just got home from school), but I really can't stand that guy. I think his first name is Brian, he's so annoying.

MSNBC also had Shaq out for the season briefly, it's now corrected.

    If ESPN=CBS, then I guess Pacers.com=Fox...
