Default What are you doing for the allstar break

Sometimes I feel like the players, usually by the allstar break time I need a break, so this year I'm going to Florida to some secret beach locale. Although I suspect MagicRat or Btown will track me down somehow and produce some discriminating photos.

Have a good break everyone, won't be gone too long as I have to be back at work Monday, so I'll be back Sunday night

Read a few good books, watch some good movies.

And meet up with one of the greatest friends I ever had, I'm so excited, I haven't seen her in almost 7, 8 years maybe. Lots of catching up to do.

I'm going to replay every Pacer game this year. I'm a glutton for punishment.

School's not going anywhere, so there's that. I'll watch what I feel like watching of the All-Star stuff, and I don't get Monday off.

Hey guess what Pacerfan? I get Monday and Tuesday off. And I get Wednesday and Thursday off. Oh! I also get Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Then guess what? I HAVE to do it all over again! And then again, and again, and again, etc. (GRIN)

Let me say something serious about being retired. You know how when your working you look forward to the weekends, well that changes when you retire. And it's not because you have every day off. (Well that too) What I'm getting at is on weekends everyone is off work and out and about. So being retired I now like Monday thur Thursday the best since on those days I don't have to deal with the weekend Warriors.

    I now know my mission.

U.B. will be gone & I have the entire site to myself. Therfore it is clear I must convince the entire forum to

    1. Hate Ron Artest

    2. Hate Jeff Foster

    3. Turn on Rick Carlisle

Have a good vacation. I know you deserve it.

Well - that certainly was presumptuous!

I'm not really sure, probably get buzzed and watch all these all-star break festivities.

PS- I got money on Josh Smith winning the dunk contest.

I'm supposed to be taking Friday off work so I'd have a 4 day weekend. Nothing really planned, just some much needed r'n'r. One thing I'd like to do is head up to Chinatown and shop for some import movies.

I may have to work all weekend.

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

Well I came back a little earlier than I expected or wanted. But I had a good time for sure. I was about 45 minutes north of Naples. Fort Myers beach. Traffic was horrible, but the weather was perfect, could not have been better. Coming back to gray Indiana is quite a shock to your system.

Looks like I have some good threads to read.
