Default Colts rank 3rd, Pacers 10th for franchise quality in sports...

    http://proxy.espn.go.com/espn/sports...nks?sport=null

It should be noted that Indianapolis is the only city with two teams in the top 10.....

Actually, there isn't another city with two teams in the top 30.....

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    Division Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
    Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005
    NBA Champions 1989, 1990, 2004

Technically, the Marlins and Heat are both in Miami I believe. Still, a very interesting list to look at.

Not surprised. Is this off the ESPN Mag. yearly ranking? Pacers jumped up a good amont from last year. Colts got much better.

Great news thanks for the info KStat. I'm glad to hear some positive news on here. !

Well Pacer Fans we have 1 game left before the break. Hope by the end of the night "Your Indiana Pacers" are 25-26...never thought I would be saying that w/ at the start of this season.

Wearing my J. O'Neal H.S (EAU CLARE- orange & green #44) jersey. I wore it the last game & we won. So I'm desperate & have superstitions.

    Go PACERS!!!:thepacers
    beat then jail blazers!!!
IPD I think you might want to follow Stoudemire & his crew bfore the game he might need some of Kandiman's Pepper Spray.

    peace,

Pacers #57 in the "fan relations" category.

I guess it depend's on which team's fans we're talking about.

Pacers excelled in Stadium quality (2), ownership (4), and affordability (8)

What brought them down was fan relations (57), and championships (24)

FYI, the stadium that came in 1st is Lambau Field in Green Bay.

Colts lacked in Stadium...gee, i wonder why
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Now that you bring up Stadium I find it interesting that the Lakers are #43 and the Clippers are #50.

They play in the exact same building people!

the Patriots should probably be #1 on this list. 17-2 for two years in a row, best coach, best front office, best everything you can think of... they are just a ridiculously successful organization right now

Not to mention the fact that their incredible stadium didn't cost taxpayers a dime. I'm sure they paid for some things such as roads to the stadium, but roads get paid for anyway. As far as the actual stadium goes, Kraft paid for the whole thing.

How did the Colts end up as the third-best pro team in the country? THIRD?! That's ridiculous.

No hockey on the list hurt Detroit and without "Bang for Buck" being weighted so high there is no way we are higher than the Spurs.
