Depending on how Mclemore develops in his 2nd year, I could see alot of Stauskas and Mclemore backcourts. I think the Collison signing is a safe one for them. Doesn't prevent them from upgrading the position in the future, while allowing for versatility in lineups.

Would you guys be content with a lineup of IT Hill PG West Hibs?

Don't think Collison is the right PG to solve the Kings woes nor do I think he will mesh will with that locker room, but good for him.

Isaiah is gone from the Kings for sure then.
KStat has been suggesting that the Kings and Pistons maybe looking at a S&T involving JSmoove and Isaiah.

I don't think that DC is any answer to replace Isaiah.....so I wonder who their backup PG is.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

No. We get smaller and less physical. Imagine how badly we would be outrebounded next year. *Shudders*

I love watching Pizza Guy play. Just not sure I'd love watching him try to lead my team to a title. Guy's good and really exciting, just too small.

    Indy out: Hibbert, Solomon
    Bost out: Rondo, Anthony
PHX out: Dragic, Len, Warren, Goodwin

    Indy in: Dragic, Anthony
    Bost in: Len, Warren, Goodwin
    PHX in: Rondo, Hibbert, Solomon

Was a trade proposed by some Boston fans. Although I can't imagine Boston not taking Hibbert in any scenario, let alone Phoenix getting both of our big men in back to back years. :/

Dragic doesn't touch a healthy Rondo, but I'd take him. I don't have much optimism for anything though.

I called a few pages back that this would probably need to be a three-team deal. Now I believe it could actually have legs.

Assuming Dragic comes to Indy and Rondo goes to Phoenix, who do we send to Boston? Hibbert?

Roy makes the most sense for me, I just don't know how to make the money work. I'm Trade Machine'd out, somebody else can figure it out.

Back in the mid 2000's, you used to always hear rumors about the Celtics trading Paul Pierce. Ultimately, Ainge stuck with Pierce through some lean years, finally built a great team around him, and was rewarded with two Finals appearances and an NBA championship.

I still think that is what they'll do with Rondo. They are in a lean period because of Rondo's injury and the departure of the Big 3. But they've stockpiled some nice assets and could build a nice team around Rondo just like they did with Pierce 7 years ago. I still think that's what Ainge will do. You don't give up on an elite talent like Rondo if they best player you're getting back is Roy Hibbert.

Jsmoove for Isaiah would make a lot of sense, although I thought that deal was in place with the understanding that the Kings somehow manage to pry Rondo away from Boston so that Jsmoove and Rondo could finally unite since they have a lot of history together- they played at Oak Hill.

Something to file away for sure though. Something we might get involved in as well. If there is a large trade coming involving Rondo, this might be relevant.

Stauskas can handle some and is decent at the P n R, so they might experiment with him as the backup PG in some sets, but otherwise they still have McCallum, who played a bit for them last season.

In all seriousness...I would love to work out a three way trade with Sacto and Boston...get us Stauskas back. That would be a dream.

Stauskas would fill a lot of our needs but I'm worried about him at the defensive end and I worry about how Sacto will use him and develop him. Payton would have been really really good on Sacto.

Lebron starting to mull non-Miami interest.

Maybe Bosh making his salary demands clear has Lebron more interested in moving on?

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

No one show him how he torched the pacers twice last season. And that was when we were playing really well. Suns gave up 2 of our first 7 losses when we were 33-7
Suns really did give the rest of the league a "blueprint" on how to beat the Pacers. Our season was slightly downhill after those two Phoenix blowout losses.

Pretty much. 3 years, 15 million (not 16 as initially reported) as per Spears @ Yahoo

I worry about every young player in Sacto...lol Stauskas is a really hard worker and at 6'6 he has the size and underrated athleticism to be at least an average defender. He would be able to create for others as well as himself too which would be a big plus.

Of everyone that's come out of Michigan recently, I think he will be the worst PRO. Some of that has to do with going to Sactown

Yep, I thought those two loses were especially disheartening because it was clear to me that a team found away to exploit the pacer's defense. Play small, but instead of getting beat in the half court push the ball and exploit the pacers slow footed bigs. When you are out running you are avoiding hibbert but worst of all you are tiring both our bigs and forcing our ball handlers to be more important. That was my one complaint with Vogel this season. He had the ability to match these teams with small line ups and never really adjusted to that.
