    From Phoenix, it's 5 years, $84.789 million.

From any other team, it's 4 years, $62.965 million
What ( if any ) Team has CapSpace to make an offer without a S&T?

I don't think that there are any left

If so, then I guess Bledsoe and his agent try to a S&T. I don't think that he's worth the MAX though.

He's worth the same max that Gordon Hayward and Chandler Parsons just got imo.

The problem for Bledsoe and Gren Monroe is that essentially the market has dried up. Their best play might be to play under the QO next season, pray they don't get hurt, then become unrestricted next summer.

What's the MAX offer that Bledsoe can get?

I don't think that they ( unlike the Pacers ) were close enough to the LT that they were bumping up against the Ceiling.
who thinks the source for this article is Bledsoe's agent?

You'd think he might be, he does have skills. But evidently not as no one made an offer. Evidently the market for 6 ft combo guards is not the same as 6-7 SF's. Once again, it looks like size still matters.

I don't really think this is one of those "size matters" things. Those guys are wings; the size matters argument is usually reserved for the big guys in the post. What's hurting Bledsoe is that every team in the league knows Phoenix will match whatever offer he gets, so what's the point?

Good God...I forgot that there hasn't been any news/rumors about Greg Monroe. I mean....literally nothing.

I wonder what is going on in his camp?

Ironically enough the only team I heard may have interest is Phoenix. Detroit reportedly wants to keep him too.

Haha, yeah. "Public scare tactics", that was rich. What the heck do you call that article? Anyway Bledsoe doesn't have many choices left, unless he's willing to take the QO.

I would say it's whether a player is big for his position or not. Hayward and Parsons are both big wings, more like 6'9'' than 6'7''. Bledsoe is ok size if you think he's a point guard, but he's definitely short for a SG. Phoenix can get away with playing Bledsoe at point because Dragic has the size to defend SGs. Other teams might not have that luxury. Aside from that, reliability concerns have to be a factor as well. Missing half the season before FA can't be good.

    Actually, yes.

The Duke/UNC basketball rivalry started because both schools got tired of being hammered in football 70 years ago and threw up the white flag.
Arizona would love to have a good college football powerhouse, but never has any good talent, though they have managed to have Teddy Bruschi, Nick Foles, and Gronk on their team at certain times...they've had a couple players, never a great team. The fans would gladly trade in the basketball powerhouse for football, more fans in the seat for one thing, and the regular season in college football matters...very rarely does a game in Tucson matter for basketball, unless it happens to be hosting an NCAA tourney game.

Hell, if I'm Phoenix and I want Monroe, I would try if legal to offer a double sign and trade for Bledsoe. He'd be expensive for the Pistons, but could be great along side Jennings and also a 6th man type role.

I think you may mean to have him to play their Future Starting SG......it would make no sense to pay a 6th Man a MAX Level contract.

If anything, maybe a S&T of Bledsoe for JSmoove? A Super Athletic Forward that can play both positions and can run the floor?

I'd take that deal, but Jennings would be backing up Bledsoe. Also, I'm not paying Bledsoe and more than I would Monroe, so its a moot point anyway because he clearly thinks he's worth more.

Do you think Jennings will remain the starting PG under SVG? He seems like a bad fit to me. Well, he may start by default, but you don't think your FO is looking for a different kind of PG?

No way to really know until SVG has a chance to work with what he's got.

Little surprising. I thought he'd retire in Dallas. Guess he's looking for a contender. I'd be happy to see Bird and Pritch have dinner with him.
There's some individual stats at the end of the article that didn't format correctly in the copy/paste. Among active players, Marion ranks 3rd in rebounds and steals.
I'm gonna guess that Marion signs for a Team for the Full MLE....or even on a cheaper deal. Whatever price he will be signed at....he will be signed at a really good price.

I think Marion is a $3-4M, one year type of player right now. Maybe less than that. I was hoping he'd stay with the Mavs but it was pretty obvious that the money would be a problem.

I would love the idea of Marion in Indy...moving George to SG and allowing Marion to play SF would be great. I think he'd be a great replacement for Lance (though it was be temporary). He would a lot less selfish and more mature

PG and Marion would be the best defensive wings in the league.
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

Byron Mullens has signed a contract with Shanxi Zhongyu in China.

Mullens is the third foreign player to round out Shanxi's roster.

Mullens signed with the Los Angeles Clippers last offseason and was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers before the NBA trade deadline.
I'm surprised that a somewhat quality Stretch 5 like Mullens can't get a minimum contract offer on an NBA Team.

Unless the Team in China overpaid him by a lot......you don't have to have Grimp's Super GM powers to go after him. Mullens isn't super bad....but he's ( at worst ) a poor man's Spencer Hawes that can stretch the floor. For the Vet minimum....I'd even consider signing him ( not that Vogel would use him anyway )
