    I want one.

Looks like the label/logo for a board game or card game.

Unless Tommy Thibbs is coaching in Detroit anytime soon, I wouldn't expect much from DJ Augustin.

I think it's a knockoff of the Atari video game logo.

I had not thought of that. You're right. It looks very much like the Atari logo.

I think it's a mistake for them for one reason.

Chandler Parsons just isn't a 15 million a year player.

Lance isn't either at this point but he isn't going to get 15 a year right now.

Parsons is gonna be considered one of the most overpaid players in the league within 2 years, watch.
Parsons isn't a superstar but he'll play up to the contract

The rest of the defense is designed to funnel the opposing Team's scorer to the paint and into the hands of the Rim Protector. When we get away from that.....or Hibbert takes his yearly sabatical from the Team.....the defense falls apart.
At the beginning of the season it seemed like the plan was to play aggressive perimeter defense which meant taking a few more chances of having a player get by us, then we had Roy to clean things up as the rim protector if that happened. Once Paul and Lance decided to stop playing perimeter D sometime in December our rim protector became our entire defensive plan.

Soon we could have the hardest division in the league, Bulls, Cavs, Pacers, Pistons and Bucks, guess I could have stated a new thread for this but oh well, will let someone else. But with the development of these young guys who have super star potential this division can go from not to bad to extremely hard really quickly.
    Why so SERIOUS

Is it correct pacers, bulls, or Cavs will have to get the 5 seed because division winners get 4 seed or better automatically?

Can't remember, I think so, but I have a weird feeling that the team with the better record still gets home court.

As others have commented on those posts on Twitter, Houston literally has no assets of any value right now. None. Parsons? Gone. Lin? Gone. Asik? Gone. They aren't moving Dwight, Harden, or Ariza. So, you're left with Patrick Beverly, Terrence Jones, and that's about it in terms of value. Could you imagine a Beverly and Jones for Rondo deal? Me neither.

It feels like Houston is mentioned as a strong suitor in every transaction.

They have the Pelicans' likely lottery pick. It's protected 4-19 IIRC, meaning the Rockets get it if it's 4-19. So that's a really nice asset. Pelicans pick, Jones, Capela, future picks. I could see a Rondo deal, but then I'm skeptical as to Rondo's level of play going forward.

Their GM is HUNGRY for major/marketable moves that brings in a high profile star.

Yea, I think Parsons isn't getting as much respect around here as he should; I've always been impressed with his game. $15M might be a tad on the high side, but I could completely see him earning it, also. I think he'll fit nicely alongside Dirk. His game reminds me a little of Kukoc. He's an impressive player.

A lot of writers this past weekend were talking about how most other GMs don't like Morey. They think he's a dick basically and some won't even deal with him. This came about as a conversation between a pair of writers tlaking about how some GMs had openly expressed happiness and the joy they were taking in watching Houston strike out on every free agent they were targeting.

I think that Morey does so much anonymous talking to the press that his middle name could be "source."

I am sure that there are other more valid reasons as to Hibbert is quietly being shopped other than Lance not wanting to play with him.

If Bird was that sensitive to Lance's needs that he would go as far as to look to trade Hibbert ( because Lance does not want to play with him ), then he would have done more to try to keep him....like offer him a more no-brainer $$$ offer than one that Lance is not super excited to sign.

Also, I don't think that Bird is the type that would move a Player just because another Player doesn't want to play with that Player. That seems very un-Bird-like.

Unless Bird thinks Hibbert sucks too.

Pelican's pick alone won't be worth Rondo or Love even if you toss in those two average players. Beverly is good defensively, but he's not that great of a starter, same for Jones. I think people lose sight of how elite the players we're talking about are. Rondo has offensive limitations, but he's elite defensively and maybe the best passing PG in the league. Love is Love, all that needs to be said. Pelican's have Anthony Davis, Gordon, and Evans ... if they are all healthy, they'll be at the lower end of that 4-19 spectrum, probably somewhere from 12-19. Davis is a legit MVP candidate already if he can get some help and get some W's.
