why do teams bend over to help lebron? I will never understand it i'd be pissed if I was curry worthless picks that are doing nothing to help in the present and likely not the future.
they are also helping themselves... Love is not gonna re-sign in Minny either way... they might as well get assets while they can

Honest question. The fact that nobody else seems to be wanting to offer him a contract thays as large as the Pacers offer doesn't make you wonder about Lance even a little bit? (And yes I saw the wojo tweet about Dal if Parsons re-signs with Hou)
Someone mentioned that neither Bledsoe or Monroe have been rumored to have gotten any offers either. Are teams afraid of signing them as well?

Or, maybe it could be that, behind the scenes, other teams have been told the original teams would match offers for their players.

I don't know the answer, but it does seem people are forgetting that Lance is not the only good player out there who is not surrounded with rumors.

Kyrie, Wiggins, James, Love, Varejoa with Thompson and Waiters coming off the bench.... yeah it's over
Don't forget Ray Allen and Mike Miller killing it from 3 which is probably going to happen as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they squeeze in Birdman as well.

Yeah why would GSW give up Klay for multiple picks? They're trying to win now. Seems like BS

Bledsoe and Monroe are both RFAs on teams with a lot of cap room. It's almost pointless to sign them knowing that.

Charlotte gave Hayward the most hideous contract they could create and Utah matched simply because they had to pay someone under league rules and it may as well be someone decent.

How much would Emeka Okafor fetch? Ian type money or way more? I'd love to get Okafor for our backup C if the same amount and try to unload Ian.

NM, I didn't realize he didn't play last season.

the guy that led the league last year in triple doubles at 23 is overpaid at 8 million yet people with comparable stats are being paid 3 - 4 million per year more than he is. I'd consider that a win for the Pacers.
It's the same reason JR Smith is overpaid. In spite of his stats his overall impact isn't as positive as his stats would indicate.
He's not getting the offers because other GM's took notice of his antics but they also take notice when he tries to steal an uncontested rebound from a team mate in a critical playoff game and knocks it out of bounds causing a turnover. He makes a lot of really stupid plays that offset those triple doubles.

Indiana is among the teams that definitely have interest in bringing in Carlos Boozer if he’s waived by the Bulls via the amnesty provision.

Wouldn't mind him as a back-up big, he just isn't starting caliber anymore, but:

    Watson
    Miles
    Solo
    Boozer
    Mahinmi

That is a good bench. However, I highly doubt this is true.

West, Scola, Copeland, Boozer and Paul George. Looks like a championship starting lineup.

Boozer would come off the bench. It would be something like......

    Copeland
    Rudez
    Boozer
    Miles
    Watson

It makes sense because it's been so quiet on the Lance front. Phoenix would add an experienced player with size in the back court. Bledsoe and Lance fits better because Lance is an attack the rim player. Bledsoe too but Bledsoe is more of a jump-shooter. Now that they've added I. Thomas, they need to get bigger in the back court.

Really? We're going to take grimp at his word?

    Here's the article:

The Pacers would love to make a deal for Phoenix’s Goran Dragic, with Lance Stephenson being a candidate to go to the Suns in a sign-and-trade. But the Pacers want to keep George Hill, their much-maligned point guard. Stephenson is more likely to land in Charlotte which will have to overpay him at about $12M per year.
Yeah, I sure the pacers would like to trade lance for dragic. Nowhere does it say here that's likely or that Phoenix even wants him....

I think this trade makes us better but the next step would be adding a shooting guard. Hill at the two guard is a disaster waiting to happen. Hill doesn't have the personality of a scorer. I wonder if Larry will then move Hill for Mayo.
