    Pacers radically change the team

Hibbert to Celtic-------- Jeff Green and Sullinger to Pistons ------- Monroe at 12-13 mil and Joel Anthony ( filler to make salaries work)

Pacers then send West , Solomon and George Hill to the Suns for Dragic and the Morris twins

When I see "milkshake from steak and shake," I take that to mean quality.

Then Pacers / Pistons/ Suns make it a 3 team deal Hibbert to Pistons, Monroe sign and trade to Suns, and Dragic to Pacers.
That doesn't make a lot of sense for Detroit. Could they use a point guard instead?

Just curious, how do you know the Celtics don't want Hibbert? Hasn't Ainge been calling for a rim protector this off-season?

my job is to know. stat hicks and a few others know what I do for a living.

I'm sure ainge would take hibbert for Gerald Wallace. that would be it. roys contract just doesn't fit into what they want to do going forward.

(and hibbert blows. my two cents not theirs)

We could also use another SF and if we do deal Monroe we need a backup PF/C type as well.

I don't love that offer but it makes sense from a logistical standpoint.

Oklahoma City Thunder: What happened to TV analyst Grant Long?

by Mel Bracht Published: August 10, 2014

Deep financial problems contributed to the departure of Thunder TV analyst Grant Long, who had held his position with the team since it moved to Oklahoma City in 2008. The Thunder announced his resignation on July 21.

Earlier this year, Long filed for bankruptcy in federal court. His initial paperwork included two out-of-state casinos that Long said he owed more than $300,000 — $195,000 to the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority and $125,000 to Bally’s Park Place. The bankruptcy case was later dismissed.

According to records in his filing, Long earned $166,000 from the Thunder in 2013 and $193,000 in 2012. He listed his assets as $65,500 in personal property, including $40,000 for a 2009 Cadillac Escalade and $20,000 for a 2011 Infinity.

Long’s financial troubles came out in the open in July when KOKH-25 reported that Long had failed to repay a $5,000 loan from Larry Rowell, an Oklahoma City jewelry store owner. Rowell said Long had agreed to pay him back $6,000 in 45 days. Court records indicate several other businesses had filed lawsuits against Long.

When asked by KOKH about his debts, Long declined to discuss the matter.

“That’s my personal business, and I won’t go into that,” Long said.

Long could not be reached for comment by The Oklahoman.

Long, 48, played 14 seasons in the NBA, including his first seven seasons with the Miami Heat.

If that's the case, we could offer Mahinmi, Sloan and either Scola or Copeland. We should jump all over that deal...we could even throw in a milkshake and maybe even some White Castles.

I'm not saying that I'd be interested in all these Players, but I think that some could be considered reasonable "Targets" for various reasons.

Eric Gordon - You don't think that the Pelicans would want to dump Gordon's injury concerns and MAX level contract to another Team if they got a somewhat reasonable return for him ( like moving West to a 3rd Team while getting back a huge Expiring + some prospect / Draft Pick )?

Shane Larkin, Iman Shumpert and JR Smith - All on a Knicks roster that is already OVER the LT. At some point in the season, the Knicks may consider moving any one of them ( most notably JR Smith ) for Scola or a TPE to help clear Salary.

I'm not saying that it would be in the Pacers best interest to go after the Players that I mention above ( especially JR Smith ).....I'm saying that these are "Soft Targets" that may be had for the right price. They are soft for valid reasons and concerns but there are some Players that I'd consider going after ( Larkin and Shumpert ) if the price is right ( TPE and future 2nd round pick ).

As for Josh Smith and Jeff Green, my guess is that their price would be too expensive for the Pacers to afford.

Picks can't be added to a trade exemptions. Just keep in mind Atlanta and Harrington.

If others know what you do for a living, then why not tell the rest for credibility sake? You are insinuating your job puts you in the "know" of the going ons in the Pacers FO. YOU are the one "tooting your own horn about your job and it's importance", so fess up as to why your posts should be believed for credibility. Otherwise, words are cheap.

ESPN's doing their Summer Forecast for the East, 1 Cleveland, 2 Chicago, 3 Raptors, 4 Wizards. 5's not on the page yet but it's the Hornets.

The Hornet's could end up being a very good team, or they could end up being bottom of the league trash. Such is the bi polar condition of Mr. Lance's game.

With some of the rumors going around I put something together. Also, I think if Hibbert is traded then West has to be traded.

Pacers get: Greg Monroe, John Henson and Landry Fields
Raptors get: David West and Chris Copeland
Pistons get: Amir Johnson and OJ Mayo
    Bucks get: Roy Hibbert
