I'm intrigued by Dallas this next season. Interesting collection of players after striking out in the big fish.

If Aminu can ever develop a 3pt shot he will be a great 3-D player. He's already a good rebounder and defender, and decent mid range shooter. I think he will flourish in DAL and earn himself some money after this contract.

Edit: wouldn't have been a bad signing here as opposed to Damjan (sp?). But Bird had his mind set on offensive contributions this offseason. Not to mention Solo has a chance to fill that 3-D spot as well.

But seriously...if I am making PG money I am not even considering smashing that. I am quite sure there are plenty of other groupie girls that look better.

    Nonsense.

The fact that the FO tried for Goran weeks ago? Indicates they're going in a very high direction. I think if Phoenix does pay Bledsoe his money? Goran is as good as gone. Then again, Rondo is also as good as gone in Bean town. Problem is, we can't deal a Hibbert to Boston for Rondo unless we get a center back. In a possible scenario like this, how do you feel about Zeller, Sullinger? It could also be West who's dealt there.

Why is it that Dallas always seems to go after the big fish and strikes out so often? Top notch free agents will visit them but they won't sign with them.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

It only looks better because it is familiar. This is a sweet change imo. The only negative is that Bill Simmons thought of it first. I hope PG13 is done with imitating Kobe. Grady said that as PG was warming up he would yell out "Kobe". Respect is one thing, imitation (at this age) is a little juvenile.

I think Kobe grew out of the imitating Jordan around this time in his career. So I hope PG is a killer. That he is PG13. And stays away from the NC17.

Aren't the jersey numbers for the US mens national team like 0-15 or something? I don't know what the exact number range is, but they don't do traditional numbers. I bet it's just his USNMT jersey number.

EDIT: The 2012 team's numbers went from 4 (Tyson Chandler) to 15 (Melo). 13 was Chris Paul.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

I think #13 will definitely be what he wears in FIBA, but I could see him possibly switching for the P's as well.

So, Bledsoe is "likely" to re-sign with Phoenix. They pretty much have to move a PG now, right?
They are postioning themselves to cash in on Dragic before the trade deadline. No way do I see Dragic in a Suns uniform after the trade deadline. Dragic will opt out next season to get paid big time cuz some Team is going to overpay him $13 to 14 mi a year.....if not more. Yeah, that seems like a lot......but I can see some Team overpay him big time in the offseason.

And before anyone suggests....I don't think we have the necessary assets to get him unless we somehow deal some 2 Player combination of GH/ Hibbert / DWest to some 3rd Team for assets that are more appealing to the Suns.

I have no problem whatsoever with what Ray Allen is doing. What is wrong with a guy who loves to play his game extending his career and competing for titles?

He's pathetic. Who'd sign up with the team that beat them? The older guys like Jordan, Pippen, Reggie, etc would never lose a playoff series to the Knicks or Bulls and then sign with them the next season. Especially that old Knicks team with Ewing and those guys. This also makes the NBA as a whole look way too rigged. Between this, Mike Miller, and the Kevin Love stuff. You almost get the feeling that if Blatt doesn't work out, they'll try and trade for Spoelstra next season.

Yeah, wouldn't the NBA be so much better if guys just played for money instead of love of the game. Ray Allen has taken a paycut the last few years to play on good teams. He worked his butt of to become the best 3 point shooter ever and put himself in a position where he had multiple contending teams vying for his services. That is a tribute to hard work and keeping his body in shape.

If an investment representative leaves Merrill Lynch to go to Wells Fargo because he believes it is a better opportunity are you going to blast him? You have to understand (which I know you don't) that the NBA is a business. The fact that Ray Allen has chosen to maximize his equity is no different than any person who ever played.

Please. If Lebron wasn't there, he wouldn't be going. Following another guy around like that is sad. I don't remember any of Melo's teammates following him to the Knicks. Just shows Ray isn't elite. Melo could've forced his way to Cleveland to play with Lebron but he had more respect for himself.

You've GOT to be freakin' kidding me.

Melo stayed in NY for the $$. He took the 'free agent tour' to get his ego coddled. NEVER had an intention of signing anywhere else.

Melo and respect in the same sentence - what a joke.
