Ray Allen is leaning towards signing with Cleveland
I'm as shocked as everyone else...
It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.
Division Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005
NBA Champions 1989, 1990, 2004
I'm guessing Ray has a Seahawks jersey in his closet he bought in Early Feb.
^^ LeBron's teat must be pretty calloused by now with all these guys sucking on it ...............
If Aminu can ever develop a 3pt shot he will be a great 3-D player. He's already a good rebounder and defender, and decent mid range shooter. I think he will flourish in DAL and earn himself some money after this contract.
Edit: wouldn't have been a bad signing here as opposed to Damjan (sp?). But Bird had his mind set on offensive contributions this offseason. Not to mention Solo has a chance to fill that 3-D spot as well.
But seriously...if I am making PG money I am not even considering smashing that. I am quite sure there are plenty of other groupie girls that look better.
It only looks better because it is familiar. This is a sweet change imo. The only negative is that Bill Simmons thought of it first. I hope PG13 is done with imitating Kobe. Grady said that as PG was warming up he would yell out "Kobe". Respect is one thing, imitation (at this age) is a little juvenile.
I think Kobe grew out of the imitating Jordan around this time in his career. So I hope PG is a killer. That he is PG13. And stays away from the NC17.
Aren't the jersey numbers for the US mens national team like 0-15 or something? I don't know what the exact number range is, but they don't do traditional numbers. I bet it's just his USNMT jersey number.
EDIT: The 2012 team's numbers went from 4 (Tyson Chandler) to 15 (Melo). 13 was Chris Paul.

“Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.” ― Ricky Gervais.
What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?
Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.
I think #13 will definitely be what he wears in FIBA, but I could see him possibly switching for the P's as well.
And before anyone suggests....I don't think we have the necessary assets to get him unless we somehow deal some 2 Player combination of GH/ Hibbert / DWest to some 3rd Team for assets that are more appealing to the Suns.

Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.
Paul George as #13 just doesn't look right
I have no problem whatsoever with what Ray Allen is doing. What is wrong with a guy who loves to play his game extending his career and competing for titles?
If an investment representative leaves Merrill Lynch to go to Wells Fargo because he believes it is a better opportunity are you going to blast him? You have to understand (which I know you don't) that the NBA is a business. The fact that Ray Allen has chosen to maximize his equity is no different than any person who ever played.
Please. If Lebron wasn't there, he wouldn't be going. Following another guy around like that is sad. I don't remember any of Melo's teammates following him to the Knicks. Just shows Ray isn't elite. Melo could've forced his way to Cleveland to play with Lebron but he had more respect for himself.
Melo stayed in NY for the $$. He took the 'free agent tour' to get his ego coddled. NEVER had an intention of signing anywhere else.
Melo and respect in the same sentence - what a joke.
