37% from 3 last year... interesting, maybe he can play some as a wing... Problem is where does he fit in... not sure anyone knows...

At least Larry is finally figuring out you need shooting to be a legitimate contender. What took him so long? Now if we can only get Frank to play the guys.

Probably behind Solomon Hill as the 3rd SF on the roster if we sign him, he will probably compete with Damjan Rudez.

Oddly enough, when bird did his profile on him it was not this guy's offense he gushed about. He was very taken with his defense.

No he's a center. In today's NBA, being his size, 6'10 250+ makes you a center. He backed up Roy last year for a game too when Ian was out.

Larry needs to forget about the Singleton's of the world and get us a starting caliber athletic big, and a new point guard. Christ........................

I was thinking of this when the KLove/CLE rumors started up.......but the problem is that we don't have a big enough trade exception to cover all of Brewer's 2014-2015 salary.
We can trade copeland or Scola to the third or wolves
“This was just a taste,” George said. “I want to be here every year until I can’t go no more.”

Why help Cleveland get Love? When we can help Golden State get him? Think man, THINK!

Only so much you can do when you are strapped and your players trade values are low.

I agree but West has value. He brought it last playoffs and carried us in that Wiz series. Trading him should net us 2 good pieces. And it makes sense because we need a more athletic four. Dealing him to Detroit for Monroe would be good? But to Phoenix for one of the Morris boys makes more sense. Singleton being added means a trade is coming. We really can't afford him without going over the LT. He is athletic as hell, more athletic than Lance. And a decent 3pt shooter. So this would mean CJ is being traded and Singleton backs up Miles. Stuckey? Moves to back up PG. Miles and Singleton have very similar body types. Both weigh about the same. Singleton is just 3 inches taller. I could see him being back up 2 guard to Miles.

While were at it let's convince Reggie to come out of retirement, sign him to a contract and then immediately trade him to the Bucks for a 2047 2nd round draft pick!

Nonsense. I LIKE West. But teams are gonna kill us in transition with one slow big and one old one, I'm sure you know this.

You do realize we've had the leagues best defense while having those two in the lineup the past few years. Yes sometimes teams can get put in transition, but teams still have generally struggled to score on us, especially inside.

Yeah, that's the problem. I don't think anyone on this board is as big of a jerk in person as they come across on here. Except maybe Nuntius. Dude is impossibly nice.

He's not 6'10, look at him stand next to Damjan Rudez, he is about an inch shorter.

Size has nothing to do with position. Dirk is bigger than Lavoy, plays more like a SF. Paul George could be a PF at his size. Michael Carter-williams could be a SG or SF. Could go on. I think Lavoy plays more like a PF, who can spot at the 5 if need be.

There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Ya got me by an inch. He's listed at 6'9. But at 250+ he can play back up center. I don't know how much ups he has though. I haven't seen enough of him as a player to know how far UP he can get to block shots. I mean UP like at his most optimal "i really need to block this" effort.

Can we even sign him right now? Isn't our roster full?

I think we'll have to wait to see when the season starts but anything that keeps Ian off the floor. He is bad at everything. Can't even dunk the ball right underneath the basket, he fouls too much, and can't shoot. His free throws are awful also. Good grief. I wouldn't give Ian so much crap if he were like Dwight Howard in terms of certain aspects. Example....Dwight can't shoot for crap either (jump-shots or free throws), but he's got good hands, and will attack the rim and complete most of his dunks. That's all we need a back up big to do really.

If we cut Scola I guess? There's a trade coming though. The tweet by Pritchard to what's his name that works for ESPN? That the "story isn't completed yet" or something to that effect? And now this news? There's a deal coming. Even if it's a small one.

I thought that tweet came from Pritchard's daughter.

Teams can have up to 20 players during the offseason.

Came from Kevin, then she re-tweeted it to what's his name.
