Boozer and West would give us the most vocal PF combo in the league. Grab that ****! Oh, and 1!

It's hard for me to like boozer. He's been a hated player on a rival team. He's a punk and not even that good. I'd rather him go somewhere else. He's probably going to be overpaid for what we would want to pay him anyways.

Bulls say goodbye to Carlos Boozer. Have used amnesty provision. Teams will be able bid for him.

Now, who was it that said Chicago wouldn't amnesty Boozer?

I would too the Scola that shoots mid range jumpers and misses all day. Why doesn't Frank post him up down low? Seems he would be more effective. If Frank is going to use him like he did last year I want him gone.
My personal opinion if a coach (Vogel) isn't going to use the players correctly, then the player won't perform to their normal output.

I don't know how much you watched Scola, but the mid range jumper and the PnP have always been the biggest parts of Scola's game. He used to go to the post more often, and he probably should have played more there with us, but he's always been a perimeter player first.

It certainly wasn't a problem through the first few months of the year when Scola was nailing a crazy 60% or so of his mid rangers.
    Time for a new sig.

So what are you thinking will be the records? Are you one of the ones expecting us to be in the lottery next year, or do we just barely make the playoffs and go out in the first round against Cleveland?

Not specific to this reply, but I love how every other team seems to get the "someone has to prove they can beat them" benefit of the doubt while the Pacers get the "everyone else got better on paper so the Pacers are doomed" scenario.
You put that in quotes like I said it. I have never said "everyone else got better on paper so the Pacers are doomed". If you are going to be like that I'm voting you off the island.

Eff it, I want Boozer. He seems like a Pacer. He is irritating and annoying, you know, guys you would hate unless he was on your team. He would fit in with the rest of our group

I sent it to Lare (he lets me call him that). Said there will be a press conference talking about this and the signing of Lance.

That's what will be talked about at the press conference.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

I'd love Boozer over Scola. Easily.
    Offseason

    Likes:
The entire draft. Love the picks of Turner, Young and trading for Christmas.
    Signing Glen Robinson III
    Trading for Budinger
    Signing Monta Ellis
Signing Jordan Hill (not for the player, but for his deal)

    Dislkes:
    Re-signing Stuckey and Allen

I'd take Boozer at a bargain price but I don't see him clearing waivers. I'll bet the winning bid will be over 4 mil per year similar to what it took for the Suns to land Scola. When you look at Gasol's numbers the year before last when he had to share the ball, he was producing very close to what Boozer does. Gasol is better but when you factor in the games missed I don't see this move helping the Bulls much. They just don't scare me next year in the big picture.

Showing a lot of interest to whom? It's just an anonymous bid.

One of those cases where fantasy is too obvious.
It's just proof that he's not going to make it to real free agency.

And it's good news for Bulls ownership. Whatever another team bids on him, the Bulls get to subtract that exact amount from how much they have to pay him. The more teams interested, the higher the possible bid.

I am not going to rip Scola too much. While I do like Vogel I think he misused Scola quite a bit. Traditionally Scola has been a very crafty scorer who could occasionally face up and hit a 15 foot jumper. This year he rarely played with his back to the basket and was made into a pick n pop 15 foot jump shooter.
