Humphries is legit, he just needs to stay healthy.

Rubio is seeking a 5 year max deal.

He's 23 and quite the passer. He makes some flashy plays. But he also averages less than 10 ppg and shoots 38%.

    Yes, 38%.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

the previous regime's misplaced faith in him is the reason why Kevin love won't be in Minnesota anymore very soon. I'm thinking he should probably not go there.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

He has clearly been an underachiever so far in his career. Not a bust, but nowhere close to all the pre-draft hype he received. Not sure what he has done to earn a max deal

Wade/Riley, Duncan/Popp and Dirk/Cuban are the only three sincerely loyal GM/player partnerships in the NBA.

Does this mean Chandler Parsons is the highest paid Maverick? If so, Cuban is awesome

Eh. He believes in the Mavs and Cuban.

He's what people call, loyal... which is seemingly a lost attribute in the current NBA.

Yeah and now Stein is whining that Dirk shouldn't have had to take the pay cut right after he tweets that Dirk could have gotten max money if he wanted it.

Cuban has struck out every offseason since 2011. He was lucky to even get the chance to massively overpay for a 2nd tier FA like Parsons who's probably only the 3rd best payer on Dallas's roster.

This is more about being loyal to the guy that never once considered trading you in 15 years and never tried to lowball you in negotiations.

Is Love enough to get Lebron a ring in Cleveland? Even though Love is all-nba, he has never played in a playoff game. Is Love ready, right now, to get a championship?

Whoa there! Minnesota playing hardball. Maybe Cleveland softens their stance on Wiggins. I would trade Wiggins for Love in a heartbeat. Potential is only potential, but Love is a proven commodity and a rare talent.

Milwaukee "We'd like to inquire about the availability of Eric Bledsoe?"

Phoenix "Oh Jabari Parker is available?"

Milwaukee "No, we were thinking something along the lines of Larry San..."

Agreed. For the life of me I am having trouble understanding Cleveland's stance on Wiggins.

On one hand, the wrestled amongst themselves about drafting Wiggins or Parker. Cleveland also contemplated trading the pick. Heck, on the day of the draft they invited Dante Exum to workout for them. It seemed as if they liked Wiggins the best, but were far from in love with him.

Fast forward two weeks it seems like they have the opportunity to move Wiggins to acquire a top 10 player in Kevin Love whose skillset really complements Lebron and is around the same age, and Cleveland declines to do this because they are so in love with Wiggins apparently.

    Color me confused.

Wiggins could be the face of the franchise after Lebron leaves Cleveland again or retires. You don't want to trade a potential superstar to anchor your team for the next era.

If Milwaukee manages to get Bledsoe while we go into next season with Hill at PG Larry should be put on hiatus. They have nothing to trade Phoenix unless they plan on signing Bledsoe away.
