So if nobody else was willing to pay Lance more than lets say 7 or 8 Mil, but he signs here for nearly 9--then it's a steal for us? That doesn't make sense.
It doesnt matter what the stats say--Hayward got the contract he received because he could command that much on the open market. Lance obviously cant command as much, so there situations aren't related in any way.
So nobody is as leery as me to go into next season with the same starting 5 that melted down the last half of the season and limped through the lowly East playoffs? Not much bench difference either.
Miami's pursuing free agent Luol Deng with an offer near $10 million per season, on a short deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 13, 2014
Luol Deng to Miami is definitely a strong possibility, but I'm told he's weighing the lay of the land in Dallas first before deciding.— Sam Amick (@sam_amick) July 13, 2014
Better than going into next season without one of the better players on the team and no one in his place.
Lance is a wild card, but he is the only damn card we have. Maybe he screws up chemistry(I don't think he will), but we are not going near as far without him. We are not contenders without him. If Vogel can't control Lance, find a coach who can, because our team is much worse without him.
well things are gonna get interesting if Lance signs with Dallas and Cleveland gets Love... Larry do your thing
Someone tell Cuban that Deng is better for Dallas than Lance.
I don't think Lance would take a 2-20 million contract over a 5/44. If Lance gets in Rick's dog house it would cost him more than what it cost Mayo.
Cavs working three team deal w/ Warriors/TWolves. Warriors get multiple 1st rnd picks. Wolves get Klay and Tristan Thompson. Love to Cavs— Mike Cairns (@MikeCairns5) July 12, 2014
That would be crazy if the Cavs could get Love without giving up Wiggins or Waiters...
If Lance signs elsewhere it's a net talent loss when other teams are gaining. I don't buy we're as competitive with Miles starting. Even if he outperforms past trend in new role, the bench is then weak. It would take a significant trade. In fact it might even with Lance.
I'd rather die standing up than live on my knees.
why do teams bend over to help lebron? I will never understand it i'd be pissed if I was curry worthless picks that are doing nothing to help in the present and likely not the future.
Kyrie, Wiggins, James, Love, Varejoa with Thompson and Waiters coming off the bench.... yeah it's over
If wiggins doesn't go to GSW that trade never happens. Totally unrealistic.
It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.
