wasn't it last seasons playoffs where lebron tried to elbow granger and missed, but then the media would never show the replay because its lebron..
    It was the 11-12 playoffs.

I hope all the bad things in life happen to the Heat and no one else but the Heat. As I sip my soda that I'm sure some 13-year-old Heat fan from Fishers spit in, I just would like to say to all Heat fans, kiss my *** you rotten mother****ers. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go home and put some water in Dwyane Wade's momma's dish.

Pacers had more assists than the Heat. We made them play Hero ball. While we played team ball.

Chris Bosh: "We got punched in the face and clotheslined out there ...."

"I don't really play those games that Lance plays," Wade said after the game.

It's official: I hate the Miami Heat more than any other sports team in history.

And I REALLY hate the Lakers, Knicks and Bulls. A LOT.

Dont want to be negative after a win like this BUT....George Hill should NEVER, not for a damn second see the court if we are in a situation where we have a lead and a team will foul us to shoot free throws.

I turned to a friend of mines who never watches basketball when Hill got fouled and said, he is going to choke he always does. And he bricked both of them, its getting to be a joke. I would have rather Ian got fouled at this point.

Vogel has to see this by now, this always happens

I think it was intentional to a certain extent. Kind of funny that it happened right after James got smacked in the nose. I think he was frustrated at that moment.
that's fair, he definitely lead with the elbow to try and clear space, I don't think that's dirty or anything though. unfortunately Roy just caught a big time elbow to the jaw, it happens. the narrative'll probably be that both teams were taking shots but I don't think any of that happened, just a good ole fashioned slobberknocker, close as we get these days anyway. gonna be a fun series if it gets there.

Birdman Andersen needs to do something about that beard.

If I saw some guy walking down the street looking like him,
the first thing I'd probably think would be "this guy must be
    high on meth".

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Lance fouled out five minutes before the end of the game. They're still going on about it in the locker room? That's wild.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

I mostly lurk here, but I just have to add:

Our power went out with about two minutes left in the game.

And the NBA iPhone app pretty much locked up around the same time.

Pretty much a comedy of errors at my house, but I did sleep a bit better after seeing the final score.

The beard doesn't matter. He looks the same way when he shaves.

I have never witnessed a team expect superstar calls at every turn like the Heat do and then whine about it after the game.

I don't know...I've seen that look of just rage in Lance's eyes. I don't think he is an actual insane person like Artest is, but I do think the Heat could bait him into throwing a punch at one of them during the playoffs.
I am still waiting for a return favor for the Pittman goon squad mauling of Lance and Wade and Lebron laughing there rears off. They have nothing to complain about after
that antic. And if something like that happens again I sure hope that one of the Pacers sends a message that will not be tolerated. If they do not stand up to that then they
are handing the series to them.

No way Lance punches anybody. He only beats people up at NYC pick up games. I can't even recall Lance ever giving anybody an unnecessary hard foul
I agree with you here. If he had taken Wade down a couple years ago, with intent to harm, he probably would not be getting teed up now for yelling "WHAT" two feet from his face.

Wade would have been stepping back from him when he walked past.

We won the turnover battle 10-18.
I think this is a greatly overlooked stat. The Pacers can do it if they want to and if the coach demands it and the players make easy passes instead of highlight reel stuff.

This is nothing but good. Lance is so in their heads.

Just think how mad they'll be if the refs call these incidents somewhat close to fairly?

Well, no, Lance would have been suspended multiple games and DWade would be more than happy to see if he could make it happen again.

Teams have focused on a single strategy for breaking Roy's verticality.

    Hit him. Hard.

We've seen players lead with their knees to Roy's jools, hit him in the chest with arms and elbows, and swing at his head to get him to duck.

In some of these cases, pure physics means that pushing in one place will lever Roy's arms forward. However, for Roy to stay vertical with an elbow coming at his jaw? Wow. That takes guts.

And for LBJ to claim he couldn't move his arm while in mid-air? Holy crap, isn't that the whole point of those reverse hand ball exchange mid air dunks he gets on SportsCenter all the time?

LeBron's argument is stupid. It's because he was reckless. In soccer, if you tackle studs up you're gonna be carded because it's dangerous even if you don't break someone's ankle. LeBron went in elbows up, which is a reckless play.

Can anybody clarify who it was that got punched in the face? Bosh seems to be pushing that line pretty hard. I don't remember the play.

Who got punched in the face?
