Lance was about a foot or two away from Wade, turned around, stared at him, and yelled "What!" He walked away, but Wade's ***** *** goaded the refs into the T.
One thing is clear to me: There is more hate between Lance and Wade than any other two players in this rivalry. Wade lets Lance get to him more than any other Heat player. Therefore, it is completely inevitable that these two will likely have multiple run-ins in the playoffs. Lance MUST be coached on the fact that the deck is severely stacked against him in any situation with Wade. He just has to walk away.

I think you need to go back and re-read what people were saying.
There were and have been several posts conveying that this team is "garbage", and that we need to trade Hill, Lance, Roy, and David!!!!!!!

I think with smart coaching we could use this to our advantage. Your right that Wade is going to get the benefit of a doubt from the refs but Lance still needs to bring that edge and really go after Wade.

The game was just horribly officiated on both sides. I really thought it was pretty even overall. Calls definitely favored Miami in first half, Pacers in second half.
Agreed. I was angry after the first half but I wrote in the game thread that calls have to even out and go our way in the second half. And they did. That's the thing with NBA officiating. It sucks a lot (although, basketball is not easy to ref, let's be fair) but most of the time it evens out.

That was an angry Heat locker room. Angry about the officials' treatment of LeBron. And angry about Stephenson's antics.

Lance matches up well against Wade probably better than almost anyone in the NBA. Wade's not stronger, he's not quicker. He may be able to jump higher, but that's about it at this stage of his career. Lance doesn't fear him (or the Heat) at all. I agree with Reggie's assessment, Lance gives this team some edge.

The Lance stuff makes me nervous, because I believe Lance has a little too much Artest in him for my liking, but this...this I LOVE.

Birdman has been giving Paul George hard fouls every time we've played Miami. It's about time Mahinmi and Scola delivered some punishment off our bench. I just hope we can get Bynum ready for a Heat series because I'd love to unleash the Kracken on them.

I think being concerned about some of Lance's antics is warranted, but I HATE the comparisons to Artest.

It's unbecoming of a two time defending champ to whine like this. Would 45's Bulls ever have cried around like this?

In hindsight, I'm glad that Ready got thrown out for one reason - it allowed Turner to have some nice clutch moments in a game with major implications. Hopefully this gives him a big confidence boost. This is a little bit different than lighting up the Celtics.

I don't think they're the same kind of crazy. Artest gets that blank look where you wonder if anyone's actually home in there. Lance plays with edge, a whole lot of edge, but I can't see him going Artest on someone. It doesn't mean he wouldn't get in a skirmish with someone though.

Yah, I had never heard of him either, but Candace was retweeting him so I passed it along.

I hope it was a good learning experience for Lance and I hope he doesn't do it again.
You've got to be kidding me. Show of hands...who in this forum thinks that Lance learned a *******ed thing acting the fool and giving momentum back to the Heat?

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

The dude is a first class *** clown who has decided it was more important he stroke his own little ego at every point in the the game than think about how his teammates gutted to get the game to that point.

I couldn't have been happier they finished it without him.

What is wrong with that dude? Other than every ref in league has it in for him to the tune of 14 techs. Can't be him, right? Why can't he just STFU and play?

I am amazed at the number of enablers on this board.

I don't know what to do with Turner. I generally hate his game but he goes from dreadful to great over the course of a game so often.

I don't know...I've seen that look of just rage in Lance's eyes. I don't think he is an actual insane person like Artest is, but I do think the Heat could bait him into throwing a punch at one of them during the playoffs.

I don't want to hear any *****ing about officials coming out of the Miami locker room. If they had done their job halfway competent, thats a double-digit Pacer win. They were lucky Lebron didn't get a Flagrant 2 as it was.

It's unbecoming of a two time defending champ to whine like this. Would 45's Bulls ever have cried around like this?
    Phil would.

    Anyway enough of those tools.

1.) There is a war coming. And Indianapolis is ready for it.

2.) I don't want to hear anyone *****ing about Roy Hibbert's heart after tonight.

3.) Greg Oden as a Hibbert answer....

Yeah, I'm glad it happened because it forced Vogel's hand.

Oh, and overall statistics may disagree with me, but I always expect George Hill to miss free throws when they really count. I have no faith in him at the line in crunch time. If Paul George can't catch the inbounds pass I'd literally rather see one of our bigs shoot the free throws.

Glad we got the W, let's go streaking!

If Oden guarded Hibbert every possession of every game over the course of an entire season, Hibbert would give Wilt's 50.4 PPG season a run for its money.
