Time for a new sig.
Hibbert played like a vag and PG was his typical putrid self on offense. Tough to win when your all stars are such bums. Conley lit Hill up. Stephenson was his usual consistently solid self.
These guys are soft....and you know what's coming on Monday don't we???
I was impressed to see the Pacers continue to run their offense even after they got behind and a little frustrated. I'm still concerned that so much of their good offense results in midrange shots (although they are open), but the ball continued to move tonight.
Thankfully only one more back to back for the season and no more road games on the back end!
On another note, we need to pony up and pay Lance this summer. If that means trading someone, I don't care. I never thought I would say that, but he just means too much.
Does it concern anyone that whenever we seem to play tough frontcourts lately we get killed? I am particularly thinking about Charlotte and now Memphis.
That is the last back to back we play until November
also last western conference road game until hopefully mid June

i am not upset about this game. Effort was good, knew this would be a really tough game for us. Grizzlies defense was very impressive. I'll say the best team defense we have played all season. It was textbook, help recover, help the helper. It was a clinic

Roy had zero ... Zero rebounds if someone says Roy is a good rebounder again I will scream..
I agree with most sentiments that it was just "one of those games", but it does bother me how disinterested the Pacers looked in just about every 50/50 ball. I saw 4 or 5 opportunities someone could have dove, jumped or otherwise made an extra effort to get the loose ball...and they were content to see it go to Memphis.
It concerns me that I've seen this in a few games now. This team is at its best when it's scrapping, fighting, diving to the floor for the ball. Remember when Hibbert would do that to start the season?
Tough one to watch. I didn't enjoy a second of this game.
The Miami-Indy conference finals that everyone was so excited about 2 months ago looks like it might be the next Dan & Dave.
You'd think the Pacers would focus a bit more on rebounding on these back to back games, when we lose its always predicated on turnovers and rebounds. Each team got about 74 shots up. Grizz got 10 more defensive rebounds, and +2 on the offensive rebounds. They shot well on those extra possessions.
Maybe our 7-2 center could contribute anything in that department.
You can't get champagne from a garden hose.
He may be the first center in history to play more than 25 mins with 0 rebounds
Pacers are the second best defensive rebounding team. Second best at plus 4.5 rebounds per game and second best overall rebounding %.
this pacers team might have some weaknesses, but rebounding is not one of them

Good shot distribution again tonight which is encouraging.
If ever there was a game we could have used Bynum it was tonight. Hibbert and Bynum going against Gasol and Koufos would be one heck of a match up. It's hard to compare the match up tonight with Gasol getting to play twice the minutes as Roy. Who knows if we even get Bynum back though. We just have to get it together with the team we have and that should be enough if they can play like they did Friday.
