They are all sucking. Maybe there would be less hero ball if our 7'2" center could do anything around the rim. Maybe Lance would try to do less if Paul George would be aggressive again. Maybe Lance would try to do less if George Hill provided any offensive game besides once every 10 games.

We seem to be focused a lot on our offense, which is understandable, but what about the defense? I have no stats to back up what I am about to say on me, but it seems like early in the year our defense was very aggressive which led to turning other teams over or forcing bad shots that led to the Pacers getting breaks and easy baskets. Don't get me wrong, our defense is still pretty good, but I think the less aggressive defense we have played lately certainly has played a role in some of these issues we are having on offense.

Just trying to score in the half court against NBA teams is not easy!

So it's literally everyone else's fault for why Lance is dominating the ball?

One thing I think we can all agree on: There are plenty of people who deserve blame for the craptastic basketball we have been playing.

Our defense never forced a lot of turnovers. That was an anomaly most commentators latched onto.

I think what you may be seeing is fewer transition opportunities - partly because defenses are learning to get back on us very quickly and partly because instead of taking transition to the basket we are backing off and going into a half-court (or launching a quick jumper).

All kidding aside, I think frustration has been building in Roy for a long time in regards to Lance. You can literally see him roll his eyes on the court when Lance comes in and steals a rebound from him. Now with his recent struggles and Lance becoming (at times) a black hole on offense, well, yeah.

I agree with him. Just because everyone on here is freaking out doesn't mean it's the truth or going to solve anything, lol.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

No, but I don't really listen to what Vogel has to say to the media. His next criticism of his team or anyone on it will be his first.

No he has plenty of blame himself. I'm not defending Lance at all (and I have been a huge Lance supporter for his entire career here). Typically though he plays more within the offense when the rest of the guys are doing well.

Yeah, Hibbs needs to worry about not getting shoved out of the paint by the likes of HENRY SIMS before he should start casting stones. He had a good game last night, but he's looked like crap way too often recently.

I'm not understanding this. You can only speak the truth when you're playing well?

I like truthful statements, regardless of where they come from, or what the circumstances around them are.

I'm just saying that he needs to take a long hard look at all of the reasons why things are the way they are. Letting scrubs like Henry Sims outmuscle you hardly installs faith in your teammates.

Paul George is the biggest detriment with our offense right now. For three months, we have allowed a guy shooting 40% to dominate the offense as if he's Kobe. Ever since the world told PG that he was a star, his game has gone downhill. I liked PG a lot better when he was a hot up and comer. I'm not near as big of a fan of a PG who thinks he's Durant.

Either answer is 100% independent of how Roy is playing, and who's out muscling him. Roy does need to play better, but his play doesn't invalidate what he said.

Also, what the heck is up with rebounding? Again, I am not reading a stat sheet, but if we could get some of those long defensive rebounds we could run and get better shots. We have to go after those long rebounds though. The Knicks got a lot of 2nd shots in the first half.

I'm just not getting how people are turning this into a Lance Vs Roy thing. I didn't understand how it was ever a Lance Vs Danny thing either, so maybe I'm just lost all together.

Not by name, but he clearly gives West and Paul George a pass. I think he is mainly talking about Lance because he refers to roles changing.

I realize little bits and pieces of this article was discussed in the post game thread, but I think it deserves its own thread because there is more in the article than what was in her tweets

It's one truth amongst many truths, and it conveniently absolved himself of blame. I never said that his statements were false anyway. I just think that veiled shots should stay behind closed doors. If you're going to take veiled shots at someone, then I hope that you yourself are at least playing well. West has more cred since he has been playing his a** off for two months, but it's just hard for me to take Hibbs' quotes seriously when he's letting no named scrubs outmuscle him.

8:20 left in the first quarter, George Hill just got fouled by Stoudemire on a rebound. West inbounds to Hill, they come up the floor and run a quick pick and roll leading to an easy George Hill layup to give us our first lead of the game. Running back down on defense Lance is holding his hands out in a "why didn't you pass it to me" motion, while yelling something at George Hill. As the Knicks offense is setting up Lance turns to the bench arms out palms up like "What did I do" and you can see Rasual Butler sitting on the bench shaking his head.

I just had to get that sequence off my chest, I've watched it five times now and I can't get over it. I feel like I see a moment like that at least once a game from him. He's had good numbers recently, but Lance doesn't seem to do things that would endear him to teammates, and whining about a successful layup doesn't strike me as just wanting to win.
