Default Pacers Pistons Post Game Thread

It would be easier if the Pacers just played with defensive intensity in the first half, but still a 25 point comeback is still very impressive any way you look at it.

Lets Hope Drummond is ok for Detroit, that was scary.

Also, credit to BenR1990 for his optimism, Nuntius for returning in the second half, and Shade's annual This Team has quit thread. All played major parts in the victory.

I don't know what happened to Trophy, but I like the idea of putting Box Scores in post game threads again.

Not to take away from the comeback, but I don't think this makes the top 5 in "Pistons blown losses" this season.

    And, no, I'm not kidding.

I have no idea how they found the energy to come back from 25 down, on the road, on the second night of a back-to-back.

The 2nd half and OT was PACERS BASKETBALL. Potentially the best 2nd half/OT for the team this season.

Somewhere I believe Larry Legend is very Proud of this team for getting the win.

Awesome comeback. We had a lot more shot opportunities then normal but I'm glad to see the ball getting shared and seeing us work the paint some. Bynum looks like a good fit for us. West and Hibbert came up huge in the end.

Bynum is such a G. This will go down as one of the biggest mid-season signings in the history of the NBA.

Glad we realized that Turner should actually get shots. Great game for him.

Loved seeing Lance come up with those clutch passes and shot. Also, how many times has West been clutch for us? Man that guy has been so good over the last couple of months. He looked a bit old at the beginning of the year, but he has just been red hot lately. Definitely one of my favorite Pacers ever.

Great win. This is the type of win that can end a slump and give a team some much needed confidence.

Never felt this good about a final score ever.

Actually **** the game, I'm hoping Andre is okay.

Pretty shocked that this team was able to fight back. Turner and Bynum were BIG off the bench.

I know Bynum struggled shooting (6-18), but he was huge off the bench, 15 pts and 9 rebounds... I know he's only played in 2 games, but he has looked really good so far. If Miami signed him guys... we would of had a problem

I am laughing so hard at anyone who called this a great comeback. I doubt there's a single Pistons fan who's watched this team consistently who is surprised they blew that lead.

I was almost positive the Pacers were going to win when they cut it to 19 at halftime. I knew it was over when the Pacers scored the first 8 of the second half.

If this game was the turning point for the team I may finally forgive the Pistons for 2004

Any time you comeback from being down 25, its a great comeback.

For those Vogel haters who say he's too stubborn and stupid to ever deviate from his rotations, this game is for you. He gave extra minutes to Bynum and Turner because Lance and Hibbert were having bad games. It worked to perfection.

Now, we have GOT to stop with these terrible first halves. But for now we savor the sweet flavor that is comeback.

I think, as a consensus, we want to rejoice in a win not be be told that it wasn't a feat to come back from down 25 (25!) Down.

I declare the slump officially over.
Said last week that the Pacers were gonna keep on struggling, and teams are gonna keep jumping on them to start the game, and it wasn't going to stop until this tired *** team took a good hard look at itself and is tired of losing, and comes out fighting for their season. Claws back into the game and snatches victory from the opponent. We have seen this happen tonight.

The slump is over, and this team is gonna start playing up to its potential from here on out.

And the Pacers have had serious problems getting back into games when they give up leads in 2014. It's a breath of fresh air for us.

I feel like this is really going to bring the team together in a major way and you can see that these guys are really getting along well with each other. Really excited about the win tonight AND it was the second night of back to back games on the road. Now we get a couple of days to rest before we play a really hot Knicks team.

You do have a point, shags. I do remember that the Pistons have blown a lot of leads this season and thus this game isn't a surprise to you.

But we have seen our team get into huge holes again. And we have seen them fight back and make it a close game again. But normally something happens and the other team gets some momentum back and even when we cut it close we normally fail to get over the hump (especially if it's a back to back).

That's why people think of it as a comeback
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

Maybe it helped Hibbert too? He came back in and knocked down a big shot and 2 big free throws, as well as a key block
